A GREAT COASTAL GETAWAY WITH TWO SUITES near WEST BEACH - Between the Harbor, downtown Santa Barbara, and a popular stretch of West Beach, this two-story townhouse offers the perfect blend of coastal comfort and convenience in a friendly five-unit enclave. The home features two downstairs suites, each with en-suite bathrooms and patio access through sliding glass doors. The primary suite with king-size bed has a walk-in closet and direct access to a lush, fully enclosed tropical patio with dining and lounge seating under a canopy of colorful bougainvillea. Real petit-banana trees add shade and , when in season, supply tasty treats for making the best banana bread! The en-suite bathroom features a large soaking tub, perfect for unwinding after a beach day. The second suite opens to the front patio, offering a queen-size bed and a en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Front loading washer and dryer is conveniently located on this bedroom level.

Upstairs, dramatic vaulted ceilings and an abundance of windows create an airy great room filled with natural light. The living and dining areas flow into a beautifully remodeled Scandinavian-inspired kitchen featuring modern coastal finishes, a convection oven/microwave combo, great countertop appliances, and everything needed for easy meal-making. A bookshelf is loaded with a variety of reads for all ages! A corner desk beneath a mountain-facing window creates a peaceful, dual workspace great for studying, writing, or trip planning. A sunny upstairs patio makes the perfect spot for morning cup of tea, or quiet evening conversation.

Walk to the beach. Yes please! It's also fun to catch a Foresters baseball game at Pershing Park down the street, or swim a few heart-pumping laps at the historic Los Baños Olympic-size pool. Feel like taking a walk? Start mornings with breakfast at Sambo's Restaurant or Jeannines a bit further down, and end with sunset harbor views and the freshest seafood at Brophy Bros, a classic local favorite! There is off-street parking for two cars.

The house was terrific. Great location, very nice. The only thing we didn't realize is that there is no air conditioning, just fans and open windows and doors. At first we weren't thrilled, but with the fans and the ocean breezes is was nice. So was not a big deal. We would stay again.

LOVED OUR STAY HERE! Location is fabulous! We enjoyed visiting Santa Barbara! There is no AC, so it was a bit warm, but we had plenty of fans! The evenings are cool, even the last week of July!The VRBO team welcomed us with ROSES and WINE, as my husband has cancer and always wanted to spend time in Santa Barbara. The card with it was so kind.The photos are so true, this place is adorable. :) PS We did try to reach Lydia, the HOST with a text and were unable to do so. She didn't respond. But we solved the issue ourselves; it wasn't a huge one.
