Enjoy this 1bedroom, 1bathroom with waterfront access. Our bedroom features a king bed with a full bathroom, the bathtub has a safety rail for added security there is a handrail over the toilet for additional support. A queen size sleeper sofa is available in the living room for additional guests.
The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mini fridge, stovetop with 2 burners, and a microwave. Seating for 6 is available with a kitchen table and bar seating.
The living room has seating for up to 7 guests. And don't forget to enjoy the walkout patio as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.

The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

The refrigerator was very small. Like it was made for a camper. The floor in the hallway sounded like you were going to fall through a hole.

We shared it with another couple and had the pull out couch to sleep on which was comfortable and fun to wake up to in the morning and see the boats. The view was amazing and walking to town was super easy.

Being walkable to Charlevoix and and easy drive to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. The king bed was softer than ours but it was very comfortable. Room was very clean. However, we did have to wash some of the dishes and glasses before we could use them and we did let the staff know. We would stay here again.

Great Boat Watching

Great boat watching, great walking location but the room was super run down and needed a full update with furniture replacement. Check in at 4pm, we arrived at 6pm and walked into a very dirty room...it was a snowball from here. The chemical smell from the 1 hour clean job while we waited was beyond tolerable. Then there was still hair in mutiple places on the bathroom floor and we had to request it be vacuumed. The bed mattress was 80% covered in yellow stains, just gross! We ended up sleeping at a chain hotel in Petoskey and only used this as a landing pad during the day. We were told a small refund amount would be given but have yet to see it!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is fantastic! Beautiful view, easy walk to shops and restaurants.We were VERY disappointed with the unit, however. It was very dated, which probably would have been fine if it didn’t feel so dingy. I didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on the upholstered living room furniture. Bathroom was especially a shock—the tub grout was black and mildewed. We reported this to the management, and they did give us an adjustment on our bill. But for the price we were paying it sure wasn’t what we’d expect—even with the adjustment.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tv didn’t work, front desk was gone when we discovered this, we called the number that was given for after hour issues. No answer and the mail box was full. The next morning when we spoke to front desk she said she would take of it. We returned 4 hrs later someone had been in the room but still did not work. Talked to front desk again and told her the tv still didn’t work and didn’t know what had been done. I said we had talked to her about it in the morning and she said I know I was here. We then said she said she would have it taken care of and nothing was done. She once again she would take care of it, we did say we thought it was the remote because we had put new batteries in it and it did nothing. She then said the maintenance person didn’t tell her what he did. When we returned later in the evening there was a new remote that would turn the tv on but I had to reprogram the remote so it would work. Other than that it was fine. The attitude from the front desk was not appreciated at all.
