Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the room location near the elevator and ice machine affected your stay. We understand how frustrating that added noise can be, especially when you are trying to relax and enjoy a comfortable visit. We also apologize for the difficulty you had operating the living room television and cable setup. That should be simple and convenient for guests, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Your comments will be shared with our team so we can review the TV instructions and overall guest experience for this room. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback.

Hello Fred, Thank you for the five star review! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again! Edgewater Management

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at Edgewater Inn 110. While we’re always grateful for guest input, we’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. Providing clean, comfortable, and fully functional accommodations is very important to us, and it’s clear from your comments that this unit fell short in several areas. We sincerely apologize for the missing dishwasher and the visible gap where one once was. We understand how important a well-equipped kitchen is, especially for guests planning to prepare meals during their stay. Your feedback has been passed along to our property management and maintenance teams, as well as the condo’s owner, to ensure this issue is addressed promptly. We also appreciate you bringing the size of the refrigerator to our attention. While some units are equipped with compact fridges due to layout limitations, we agree that this one appears to be undersized for guest needs. We’ll be reviewing options for upgrading this appliance to better accommodate future stays. Finally, we take your concern about the hallway flooring very seriously. We’ve notified our maintenance team to immediately inspect the area for safety and structural soundness. The comfort and security of our guests are top priorities, and any potential hazard will be corrected as quickly as possible. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience these issues caused during your stay and appreciate your candid feedback, as it helps us improve both this individual unit and the overall guest experience at Edgewater Inn. We’d love the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to one of our many other well-appointed condos that meet the high standards guests have come to expect from Northern Michigan Escapes.

Thank you for your honest feedback, and I sincerely apologize for the experience you had during your stay. It’s clear that the condition of the room and the cleanliness fell far below our standards, and I deeply regret that this affected your visit. The issues with the dirty room, lingering chemical smell, and the state of the mattress are unacceptable, and we will be addressing these concerns immediately with our housekeeping team. We also apologize for the delay in processing your refund. Please rest assured that we are looking into this matter, and we will ensure it is resolved promptly. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and if you'd like to discuss your stay further, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly. We’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and hope to make things right.

Thank you Julie for taking the time to leave a review. I apologize you did not have a 5 star experience with us. Each unit is decorated differently and to owners needs, I will relay the comments to them so they can consider purchasing new furniture. I did let housekeeping know there was mildew in the shower grout and they did take the extra time to make sure it is pristine again! Please call the front desk so we can talk about unit options and to give us the opportunity to give you the experience you deserved to have!! Rose GM
