Enjoy this preferred Harbor side, Edgewater Inn walkout condo. This condo is the only 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo with a King bed, 2 person whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, and kitchen island, in Edgewater. This unit also offers a queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests.
Open concept living space features a kitchenette with a 4 burner stovetop, microwave, and mini fridge. Seating for 5 is available utilizing the kitchen table and island seating.
Living room area accommodates seating for 4 guests, with a gas fireplace to warm and create ambiance. Sectional sofa converts to an extra bed for added guests. In addition, enjoy the walkout deck with seating to watch as boats sail in and out of Round Lake or walk right out to the Edgewater boat slips and perhaps a stroll to town, or beach, and all the amenities and activities Charlevoix has to offer.

The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. Great location and clean property. Everything was as advertised. The only unusual aspect was an interior window facing an interior hallway which served no purpose as the blinds had to be closed all the time, but the blinds weren’t sufficient to shut out the rising sun. Otherwise, all good. Can’t beat the location on the water.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location is amazing! Really you are paying for the location & convenience of having a beautiful porch on the water, extra space, laundry, pool, etc. BUT, this place is sooooo dated!! I mean the condo had the worst smell, bathrooms/bedroom is very dated but the worst was you have a window to the hallway that has a bright light shining all night. We tried to cover it up with an extra sheet but can you not spend money for curtains?? Also no curtains on the patio doors either. These simple fixes would make this so much better

Perfect place for get away!

Property location, size, cleanliness and modern interior made this a great place to stay! Easy to walk to parks, restaurants and shopping. We did the mushroom house tour, golfed and enjoyed the complex hot tub and sauna. The fireplace made the October stay evenings Cozy.

Great location

The location was great. Close to shopping, restaurants and a bonus that the farmers market was available! The furnishings are very nice. It was very clean. Plenty of pillows and blankets as well as bath towels. The bathroom had some issues. The tile on the tub and the jacuzzi jets had mold. The shower curtain needs to be replaced. I wish I had known the jacuzzi tub was so big. Not meant for “seniors”as it was difficult to maneuver in and out of with the height of it. We arrived after the office was closed and had no idea what building we were in or how to locate the unit. Thankfully there were other renters that we asked for direction. It was confusing as they all agreed. We totally enjoyed Charlevoix. Quite a beautiful and charming town!

It was fun to see the boats come in as a storm came in, and was enjoyable to set there during storm too. Only short walk to all the shops and restaurants and also to a beach. The only issue was the bedroom does not get dark at night, because there is a light right outside the bedroom window. Still was a great place to stay.

The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. One thing we did not like was having to step over the very high side of the tub to get in and out of the shower. It felt like an accident waiting to happen. Thankfully, it did not.

Could not have been more convenient for a Charlevoix long weekend in July

Lovely spot with a view. We watched the Beaver Island ferries and boats large and small come and go from the marina. We barely moved the car during our 4-day stay. Restaurants, bars, and shops were all an easy walk. Croissants and coffee from the French bakery across the bridge became a morning habit. We even used the pool a few times. Interiors were updated and in good condition. Loved the ground floor access to the marina. Patio was perfect for morning coffee and sunset evenings.

We enjoyed the sauna and the indoor pool and hot tub. It was too early for the outdoor pool but there is one available in the summer months. We would definitely come back!
