Ideal location. Sleeps up to 16 people! Only a 7 minute walk to beautiful Tamarindo Beach, restaurants and shops. Ideal for family and friends. It is a very spacious, fully equipped, private three-story villa and casita (separate sudio apartment) with a/c, hot water, filtered water, wi-fi, outdoor pool, grill area, outdoor lounging and dining area with all modern amenities, 2 indoor lounging areas, wrap-around porch and large Smart tv. Kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary dishes to prepare a feast and share a meal. Hosts have their private casita at the front of the property and they do not share the common grounds. In addition to the concierge service, guests can gain additional information on the area and they can count on a quick response if any issue arises when hosts are present.

The kitchen was equipped extremely well but the air conditioning did not cool the area

The perfect oasis to spend quality time with my friends :) kitchen was well supplied to cook some fantastic meals and the pool was amazing ! Very close to downtown Tamarindo .

Family time at Grand Villa

We (13 family members) stayed at the Grand Villa last week in June, 2024. The house and casita were very nice place to stay for this large group. Pool and facilities were great and easy walk to beach/restaurants. Owners were very helpful and kind and made sure we had what we needed. Very safe place to stay also. Would go back for sure.

Spring break

This house was perfection for our group of 12. It’s beautiful, well kept, practical, spacious. The poolArea was fabulous and the location to town and the beach was a breeze. The hosts were lovely, attentive and very accommodating. Not a single negative about this property. I would highly recommend it. And eat at Patagonia, it is delish.

Amazing Vacation

The house exceeded all our expectations. It had a slight “Swiss Family Robinson” vibe and felt like an oasis in the middle of a vibrant surf town. The owners, Lyne and Scott, were available whenever we needed. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. For our large family get together, it was perfect!

Beautiful place in an Amazing location

This place is stunning and is only a few blocks away from the beach and the restaurant scene. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. The swimming pool is the highlight. Our kids had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time in the pool. The owners stay on the property and provided a lot of recommendations on restaurants and things to do in Tamarindo. Overall it's a great property and we highly recommend it.

Awesome property

Loved this property! We had a large group, 6 children, 9 adults. The bunk room was perfect for the kids. The Casita is perfect for part of the group that wants a little more privacy. We were able to walk to most places (very close to restaurants and beaches). We would definitely go back to this property! Scott and Lynn are fantastic, very helpful and had lots of great suggestions.

Wonderful trip

I cannot say enough about the house and the owners, they are just wonderful. We didn’t have any real issues the 2 weeks we were there but any questions we had, they were on it to accommodate and recommend. Scott and Lyne offered great suggestions when we needed help deciding what we wanted to do. They welcomed us upon and arrival and we were all sad to head home. We are going back to Tamarindo Grand Villa for sure! Highly recommend!

Quiet, comfortable, fun

This was the ideal property for our extended family while in Tamarindo. We had 4 couples and two late teen grandsons and so the 5 bedrooms were ideal (including the casita). And we used the pool a lot. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and we used the outdoor grill for cooking fish from our deep sea adventure. And plenty of hot water for showers! Scott and Lynn, hosts and owners of the property, were very friendly and helpful and even provided transportation to the grocery store as well as tips on restaurants and other activities in the area. We highly recommend this property and may come again sometime!

Tamarindo Villa Gem

I found this beautiful home on VRBO. It looked interesting from the pictures, but the pictures don't do justice to how nice the property actually was. As soon as my 12 member family walked in the gate, everybody was 'oohing and aweing' at all the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property. The swimming pool was perfect. It was a close walk to the beach and to the town. The great surprise is that it turned out I knew the owners. My wife and I had met them at a bar in Tamarindo on another trip. We had no idea they owned a rental property in Tamarindo. They were very nice to all of us, and made the vacation extra special.

A Gorgeous Oasis

We had a fantastic stay at Tamarindo Grand Villa. The communication with the hosts and access to a concierge ahead of time made for seamless travel. When we arrived, we discovered a beautiful oasis. The pool and grounds are gorgeous and well maintained and room for outside dining for all 13 of us. The Villa is a short 5 minute walk to town/beach and we managed without a golf cart for the week. The only challenge was getting groceries but our bus driver for excursions was kind enough to stop by a store for us and we arranged for groceries to be delivered by the concierge ahead of our visit. There was plenty of space for our 3 families including 7 teens with the oldest staying outside in the casita. We appreciated having our hosts Lyne and Scott onsite in case of emergencies. They were terrific hosts, very welcoming, and brought our kids toys to keep them active during the stay with great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Marvellous house in the perfect location

Our large, multi-generational family group loved, loved, loved this house. It was an easy 5 min walk to the beach or town. And, when tired of the beach, we sat by the pool surrounded by lush plantings. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We loved Daniella, the concierge, who did our grocery shopping for us before we got there and arranged our expeditions. Scott and Lynn, the owners, were responsive to our every question. They helped us get fresh fish for dinner from a local fisherman, recommended restaurants, and made sure everything in the house worked smoothly. I have stayed at many VRBO properties, and Scott & Lynn were the nicest, most responsive hosts I've ever encountered. Everyone in our group gave this place a 5-star thumbs-up.

Incredible family vacation

Decided to take the grandparents and 3 teens for a post pandemic holiday and Grande Villa proved way better than any resort for all our age groups. If it is your first time to tamarindo, and you don’t mind walking 2 blocks to the beach, (with monkeys swinging on trees along the way) you can find no better place to stay than Grabde Villa. Before arriving, Daniela , the property manager , was gracious enough to help us with all the airport transportation and housekeeping logistics. The house for our 3 teens plus grandparents was spacious , tastefully decorated and offered every comfort. Full of family games and books to pick up and read by the pool. Kitchen was large and incredibly well equipped. Pool was delicious any time of the day. But what turned our vacation into an Experience were Scott and Lynn , the consummate hosts. They went out of their way to ensure we has every comfort and experience this surf town had to offer. We have stayed in many rental properties around the world and here our hosts took courtesy , friendliness and responsiveness to an entirely different level that will never be forgotten. Thank you both for your above and beyond attention and generousity. Would absolutely try to return for more surfing , great food and R&R. Sent from my iPhone
