Luxury Oasis Perfect for Families Walking Distance to Beach

This unique gem is only a brief walk from the beach in Tamarindo. Villa Aquarena enjoys plenty of natural light featuring glass doors and clerestory windows.

The property has a beautiful turquoise pool with an ample deck where your party comfortably work on your tan or enjoy a delicious barbeque.

This home is close enough to easily enjoy all that Tamarindo’s town center has to offer, but far enough away that it will feel like your own private oasis.

The home has 3 spacious bedrooms each containing a king-size bed. Each of the secondary bedrooms also has a single bunk, excellent for larger groups of up to 8.

The gardens, deck, and pool area provide a peaceful space that will become your private oasis away from town. A state of the art kitchen and dining space with floor to ceiling doors open all the way up for an incredible indoor/outdoor vibe.

Guests will have access to the entire home. It will not be shared with anyone else during your stay.

**There is currently construction near the home and noise associated with it. It is typically Monday- Saturday, 7am- 5pm.**

Unforgettable Family Vacation!

We stayed at Villa Aquarena from Christmas through early January, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained—truly a serene retreat just steps away from a vibrant community, great restaurants, and a stunning beach. Mauricio was fantastic to work with—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our trip special. He helped us plan a seamless holiday vacation in what truly felt like paradise, from logistics to local recommendations. This was an exceptional vacation home and an unforgettable holiday experience. Our family had a wonderful stay! Our kids loved the pool and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The house is centrally located. It is close to restaurants, the grocery store, and shopping. Mauricio was so helpful and prompt with anything we needed.

Better than the pictures

We had a great time. It’s truly 10 minute walk to town and maybe 12 to the beach. Lots of restaurants close by. We rented a cart which allowed us to explore town a bit more. It was a great spot for two families of 4. Nice rooms, great Sonos sound system. We had a blast.

Amazing Vacation Villa

Villa Aquarena is gorgeous. The separate kitchen, living and bedrooms provided excellent gathering as well as private sleeping spaces. The pool is amazing. Location is perfect; close enough to the lively town and yet providing a tranquil setting. Mauricio, our concierge, was amazing and provided top-notch customer service. He provided numerous experiences and would schedule whatever we were interested in. Book the Villa Aquarena - you won’t be disappointed with either the villa or Mauricio’s customer service.

Top notch house and great location (with great service)

Our family of four loved the layout of the house, and the proximity to the beach and great restaurants. We were big fans of the pool and used it every day. The house design allows for everyone to spend time together in one of the main rooms, or break away for quiet time. Perfect for any vacation length, but even better for a longer stay in Costa Rica. The cleaning team left the house spotless for our arrival and after each visit during our stay. Mauricio, our concierge, was on top of every thing we needed. Sometimes before we even knew we needed it. Mauricio’s response time to any text or call was immediate. We will be back!

Beautiful Get a way

The property, Villa Aquarena is very unique in the way it is built. Perfect oasis for relaxation. In the heart of Tamarindo but 1 block off the main street to have quiet at night. Mauricio took very good care of us. From booking to departing. All additional services we used (rental car, in home massage, personal chef, and restaurant referrals) via Mauricio were pleasant and professional as well. When we go back to Tamarindo we plan to reach out to Mauricio to try a different property he over sees.

Awesome Family vacation

We had 7 family members(22-58) at the Villa for a family vacation . The Villa was well stocked . We brought Tervis cups to use which was good because there were not many plastic cups for by the pool . The refrigerator had an ice machine but could not keep up with our demand . Luckily the grocery store was close for extra bags of ice . When the gal came to clean she was so careful to do her work and be out of our way . She was very sweet ! Our concierge Mauricio was a godsend for our trip. He helped me get transfers, tours , and photos organized . If he was off for the day I knew who to contact and when I reached out I got a response in short order . The concierge service made this trip so enjoyable . He was even helpful with last minute yoga and surf lessons . We would come back again for this type of service .
