The accommodations was very comfortable and cozy. Made it feel like a home away from home. If I had any cons, it would be that in the description the owner should specifiy that the property is near a private beach not the boardwalk and the owner could be more communitive, ran into a few issues, but was able to figure it out because it took a while before the owner got back to me to answer the questions. A Way to solve this is put more information in the check-in procedures

The location and view are great. The pool and access to the beach are awesome. The Unit is dated and had not been thoroughly cleaned. My son slept on the pull out and was up at sunrise because there is no curtain on the giant slider. Getting in the Unit and locking/unlocking was a disaster. Definitely needs serious updating but it was tolerable because of the positives mentioned and we had spectacular weather so didn't spend a whole lot of time in the Unit.

We were not told of the pricey registration fee. (Just a small fee is in the listing) The unit could use a good cleaning top to bottom. But it is very spacious and the view from the balcony is wonderful. The pool is very clean and accessible. And the walk to the beach was wonderfully easy snd close.

OCMD Family beach week

We as a whole definitely had a good time this time around. It was busy for the time of year but we had a lot of fun. The staff was always friendly and understanding.

We got off to a rough start, but the location truly is the highlight—just steps from the beach, which is exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunately, the stay was impacted by poor communication and a few avoidable issues.1.We received no check-in information before arrival. I messaged the host through the app with no response for 7 hours. After driving 5 hours, I had to call Vrbo to access the property. The host responded later with a vague message, but still didn’t include the door code.2.Upon arrival, security informed us of a 60 parking/facility fee, which was never mentioned in the listing.3.After returning from the beach, we found there was no hot water. The host did not answer calls or respond quickly. Vrbo began working on backup accommodations but required a 5-hour window for the host to respond. Eventually, the host messaged that we needed to flip the water heater breaker ourselves. We had hot water an hour later, but no apology was offered.4.Minor issues: no soap/shampoo, poor water pressure, air hockey table missing a puck, and chess set missing a piece. The unit is a bit dated, but the photos are accurate.Overall, the location is great, but the experience could have been much better with clearer communication. Hosts should ensure check-in/out info is updated in Vrbo (we got neither) to avoid issues for guests
