It's all about the incredible location of this beautifully remodeled Durango condo in the historic Jarvis Building, a walker's paradise with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and historic streets, a communal patio and grill, unbeatable access to a multitude of restaurants, galleries, trails, nightlife, markets, and memorable outdoor adventures!

This open concept, two-level condo sits on the top floor of the Jarvis Building, right in the heart of old town Durango, with all its charms within easy reach. The historic Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train provides a timeless backdrop as it passes by the condo each morning - you can wave from the patio. The famed Animas River Trail (two blocks west) is perfect for scenic walks, and bike rides. You'll also be a short stroll from the Durango Silverton Train station, the farmers market, grocery & liquor stores, and an easy drive to the slopes of Purgatory Resort (27 miles north) and Mesa Verde National Park (35 miles west). Bike rentals are three minutes from the front door.

The place was great! My only issue was the towels. They smelled like they were left in the washing machine for 5-6 days. They smelled quite musty. Other than that, everything was great!

We loved everything about our stay at this lovely place in the Jarvis building. Location was absolutely perfect, as it is directly in the center of downtown Durango. We walked to all meals and shopping. It’s a 5 minute drive to the Fort Lewis campus where our daughter goes to school and it was spacious enough for us to cook dinner and have her over to hang out one of the nights we were staying there. We had a little trouble at check in, as we were not given the code for the front door lockbox to get into the building but a quick call to the customer service number got us right in. Comfortable beds, great amenities. We look forward to staying again on a future visit to Durango!

Wonderful condo in a perfect location

We loved staying in this property. It was very clean, had all we needed in the kitchen and the bed was comfortable. It is just around the corner from Main Street where we enjoyed dining, shopping and it was a quick walk to the train station.

Anniversary trip

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was convenient to several restaurants and shops. We also took a side trip to Mesa Verde and it was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. We would definitely stay here again.

This property is an excellent place to land in downtown Durango. My husband and I have visited every year and this property is the perfect combination of space, comfort and convenient location. This was our second time staying here and we were just as happy as we were during our first stay.
