Relax in this tropical getaway in Santa Barbara’s beachy Mesa neighborhood. You’ll be steps away from the Douglas Family Preserve, a hidden local favorite to walk dogs and capture the sunset. Mesa Lane Beach is just two blocks away where you can stroll along the cliffside to the beachside Boathouse Restaurant for dinner and drinks.

This attached guest home has been designed for you to feel comfortable and enjoy the scenery. With palm trees and birds of paradise throughout, you’ll be immersed in tropical vibes. The open concept living space offers a full Kitchen, Dining, and sitting area. The Bedroom features luxurious sheets and a doorway to a separate private patio. Conclude your beach walk by firing up the gas grill for dinner, opening a bottle of wine, and watching the sunset. Paradise Retreats is thrilled to offer Mesa Bliss!

The washer and dryer are shared with the main house.

This is a lovely place located on a quiet street just seconds away from the Douglas Preserve, Mesa steps and the beach! Street parking was excellent and everything was well appointed and perfect for our two week stay.We will return soon!

We loved our stay here. Its location is ideal. Quiet neighborhood and a view of the ocean as you are standing in the walkway to the place. Very private too! The bed was comfortable and we were able to cook a few meals too. We really appreciated the oil removal kit as you will undoubtedly get oil on your feet walking on the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay; especially because we brought our dog with us; why? Because the Douglas Nature Preserve is right around the corner and is leash free for dogs; it's a wonderful place for a long walk along the cliffs of the ocean any time morning, day or evening. The property is also very close to town (10 minute drive) and has a great local market (Lazy Acres) about a mile away, which has everything you need to stock the fridge and pantry, which we did for our 9-night stay.

Beautiful spot

Our cottage in Santa Barbara was simply awesome. It was one block from the Douglas Family Preserve. The management staff was very responsive. The owners were unbelievably kind and helpful. We would be thrilled to stay there again.

Loved It

We adored this place for our three night stay. It was conveniently located and suited our needs, plus it was charming! The four star for cleanliness was only for the washer, which had a lot of dog hair in it. We enjoyed our time and would, without a doubt, sentry here again!

Quiet and nice suite behind a house, no views, but one block from a huge park on the bluff overlooking the ocean and 3-4 blocks from steps to the beach - all and all quite nice!

Graduation vacation

Fantastic location, so close to hiking and the beach. Beautiful place for my wife & I to relax and get away from it all. We avoided ask the crowds & expenses of restaurants and used the kitchen for all our meals.

We enjoyed the patios, the landscaping around the house. It was close to everything with a car. The washer and dryer is shared with owner but was absolutely not a problem. Watch the step on the way around the garage to the front door. Very enjoyable week.
