This is a perfect location to walk around downtown, have dining options at walking distance. Everything was perfect for my family trip. The only issue is the noise its close to walgreens that gets deliveries at like 5am and the noise is so bad it wakes you up.

Great location but awkward setup

Great location and convenient check in/out. Plenty of space but thin walls. A full length mirror anywhere would have been nice, and the couch is terrible. Very awkward and uncomfortable. But overall a good stay

We loved the location in River North with shops around plenty of nice restaurants. Walkable and good buses around. Apartment was very nice, we were 5 adults. A bit noisy because of bar nearby ( it depends of your tolerance to noise. Some of us were disturbed some heard nothing). We enjoyed our stay !

A couple of important issues that we had with this apartment. Firstly, the roller shades in the primary bedroom have massive gaps between the shade and the window frame. With a south facing unit, it got so bright at 5am. The other bedroom has semi-open concept with the living room, so plenty of light in there as well. That secondary bedroom also has a a/c vent that blasts right over the headboard, blowing very strong air right on your face. Lastly, there were no cups in cupboards. Not a single one.

Chicago

Visit Chicago a couple times a year. I enjoy the being downtown amid all the hustle and bustle. This location was perfect! Walking distance to most things which is convenient. I like how the contact-less check-in made the entire process seamless. I highly recommend booking this location for any business or leisure accommodations! Two thumbs up

Apartment needs touch up paint and holes need to filled. Burnt holes in couch. Refrigerator door sounds like it’s going to fall off. Toilet is not attached to the wall. The A/C did not work and we literally melted. Had to leave windows open at night to circulate air and gotten eaten alive by bugs.

Overall: A nice stay in a great part of town. Pros: Walking distance to almost everything downtown Chicago. Check-in is easy, but not the most intuitive instructions for the building codes. Spacious and clean room. Cons: The view. DO NOT let the pictures of the property deceive you… Unless you are on the top floor, the view is not very good. Also, says there’s rooftop access but no way to get to the roof (door locked). The walls are thin inside the apartment. Layout was a bit bizarre. Advert says sleeps 6 for our unit… maybe if you have 2 adults and 4 children, but 6 adults is a no go. Honestly wish there was a bett

Great stay overall! The location was perfect—close to everything with plenty of nearby parking options. Check-in was smooth and easy. The unit had tall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, which made the space feel bright and open. Contrary to some other reviews, we didn’t find the walls thin. It was a bit noisy, but that’s just city life. We stayed in a 3-bedroom unit that fit 5 adults, 2 kids, and a baby comfortably. We requested a crib and received it the next day, which was great. The bedrooms were a bit tight, and the beds were definitely full size—not queens. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and most of us woke up with sore backs each morning. A small vacuum instead of just a broom would’ve been a nice touch, but that’s just being picky. Customer service was excellent—super responsive and helpful. Despite a few minor things, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider Sonder again.
