North Aegean Islands villa rentals

Off the beaten path, this immaculate property is separated with a privacy gate and stone walls lined with beautifully kept roses. As you proceed up the private drive that empties into an outdoor entertainment area you notice the home is surrounded by its citrus orchard. Upon entering the home, you’ll be embraced by a home that looks as though it was newly built this year with a completely furnished modern kitchen and all of the amenities of home. The beautiful wooden ceilings vault over a loft that opens to a spectacular outdoor view. It’s less than 100 yards to the beach and just a bit further is the local pub where you can dine or just sit for coffee or a drink with friends. It truly has everything you could want from a more private getaway by the sea. The property managers were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering advice about places to visit in the area. This was my favorite of the four islands we visited in Greece, a true taste of Greece.

We loved everything about the house and the island. While we didn’t meet our host, the property manager Sofia was lovely and very helpful.

This house was the reason why we chose Samos and it turned out to be even more perfect than we expected. It is right by the sea, it is clean and spacious, it has a very authentic stone-house vibe, a beautiful back garden and a breathtaking veranda on the second floor. The beach is pebbled and the sea is warm and very clean. The house is close to two private beaches on either side, close to the airport, a taxi station and a car/bike rental spot. It is also a very pleasant 25-30 min walk to Pythagorio. From the first until the last day we were kindly assisted by Eleni and her father. If we return to Samos, I would love to go back to this magical place.

I walked past this new property while staying last year in Agia Varvara and was curious what lay behind the impressive gate and stone facade. We ended up coming from the states for a family wedding in Plomari last week (mid-July) and this property was available. It was lovely in every way! Private pool, top-notch amenities (toiletries provided), comfy and luxuriously outfitted bed, great AC and WiFi, kitchen equipped with everything we needed to toss together Greek salads and fry up the fresh local eggs Mandy and family delivered each morning. When we arrived, champagne, local olive oil, six liters of water and a jar of freshly prepared local olives awaited us. Each morning a wonderful collection of breakfast items tailored to our preferences arrived at our door (inquire about this, as they’re testing it out). I LOVE this area with quiet winding roads up in the olive groves, and along gorgeous beach, for my 2-mile morning walk. Enjoyed it every morning. When I left, Mandy (always available and helpful but never intrusive) brought a nice gift of local dried herbs and handmade soap. I’ve been blessed to stay at other lovely properties in Plomari but this is the most peaceful and private, yet a 3 minute drive (or 20 minute walk) to most beautiful, amenity-full beach (Agiis Isidiros) and 5 minutes to village of Plomari. Beautiful property, wonderful people!
