The home was beautiful, it had everything you needed. The photos do not do it justice. Ideal location to explore parts of Cornwall. If you do not want to eat in, there is somewhere to walk and eat just 5 minutes up the road or if you go the other way it’s just a little bit further, either by road or drop down to the beach and walk, there’s another little place with a cafe and pub to eat. Dog friendly beach below you. The host Caroline was wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you to prepare you for your visit and also whilst you was there. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home.

The location is excellent for that true English experience with rolling green hills and flowers everywhere. Tight roads and tall hedgerows. The home opens up to enjoy all of this all wile having a beautiful view of the ocean. The walks were incredible! Go one direction and enjoy walk paths with pastures and green countryside. Walk the other direction and find a beautiful beach and rocks to walk along the ocean! Mark was wonderful to work with. He was there if we had any questions or assistance! Can’t wait to come back and visit!!!

My husband and I stayed at Matthew's cottage for a little over two weeks and it was perfect! Very comfortable rooms, good kitchen (we made our own dinner on a few occasions), dishwasher, washing machine...most of the comforts of home but in an idyllic location of rolling hills and hidden coves. Close to great seaside towns and beautiful hiking by paths. We miss it and can't recommend it highly enough!

Property perfect for travel in the area. Cozy house with complete accommodations. Beautiful, well equipped kitchen and bath. Quiet and peaceful place in Cornwall.

Beautiful spacious place in a very quaint town. Wish I could have stayed a month curled up reading books and hiking the area. It was just perfect for myself, husband and two teen kids.
