It was a memorable and enjoyable stay at this property. Everything within the house was handpicked and decorated really well. In addition it was a fine balance of presentation, comfort and homely feeling away from home. We really loved how meticulously it was presented and kept with all the comforts of home. Kids really enjoyed the games room, fire pit, vegetable garden and pizza ovens. Adults particularly had a great liking to Asahi Beer glasses along with outdoor areas.

Although the weather was not kind to us we loved our stay in this lovely home. The filtered ocean views are stunning. The beds are comfy and it was a perfect place to spend catching up with lifelong friends.

We had a great stay at The Sandbar over Christmas and NYE! Perfect for our extended family group, walking distance to the lake, large backyard for the kids to play soccer & backyard cricket. House was clean and as described, beds comfy! Garage is stocked with various backyard games and bikes for guests to use. Mar & Dars cafe down the road is great for a coffee. Host was very responsive, we had a small issue with one of the fridges not working and it was replaced promptly, despite public holiday closures etc. Thank you Daniel and family for having us stay and for the lovely Christmas decorations set up at the property for our stay!

What a place! Amazing. Di has created a wonderful atmosphere and every little detail was thought of. Highly recommend this place!
