We really enjoyed our stay at the Highland House. David has been very proactive in communication and the property was very well taken care of. Highly recommend for family retreats.

The property was perfect. Just like the pictures. The little extras were very nice. I loved the bar soap, and I'm a man, haha. Nice little touches. Cute little coffee shop in the front that also sells beer. I think it has infloor heating as I didn't see any vents or heaters which was amazing. Warm to your feet. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed with 6 adults and the house had plenty of room. The property is great, awesome back yard with plenty of outdoor furniture, fire pit with lots of wood provided. We BBQ 3 of the 4 dinners. Very close to the beach, just a quick car ride

Perfect location to jump on southern portion of Sydenham Club section of Bruce Trail. House is freshly renovated, if not new. Zero issue stay!

Spent an enjoyable weekend at the Lake House. Perfect for a couple looking to enjoy the outdoors and still have all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to start our days out right (including fresh herbs I added to our omelets!) We hiked along the Bruce Trail and saw some nice waterfalls and amazing views of Lake Huron from the Lion's Head Lookout Trail. Wished we had another day since we didn't get a chance to kayak (at the Lake House) since we were out and about the entire time. Denise and Ron are wonderful hosts and very responsive. We can't to come back!

Incredible property with fantastic views of the sunset. Every detail considered in the layout and amenities. Location is remote enough to feel like a getaway, but also offers lots of reasonable options for daily outings- waterfalls, conservation sites, winery, movies, restaurants, etc. Our family had a fantastic vacation. I am a person who “feels” a home or a place where I will stay. I had good vibes when I saw the house from the outside and it felt warm inside. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. A home away from home. Huma is a very gracious and caring hostess/owner. She checked in on us on the first day and accommodated my numerous requests. She did not say no immediately, rather, reviewed the request to see if it could be done and came back with an answer without delay. The beds are firm and we all had a good night’s rest after a long and tiring day outside having fun! There are two full bathrooms that has everything from soap to toilet paper to lotion, towels, toothbrush set. The bathroom upstairs have two showers. The bathroom downstairs also has a shower, so bathing was never a competition for time. The location is a short and enjoyable walk to the part of the beach that was not crowded, and we were close enough to the eateries. The house was very easy to find and even if it backed onto the Sauble Falls Parkway there was never any noise that interrupted our sleep. I highly recommend Huma’s place to vacationers looking for a quiet and restful place to stay at Sauble Beach while dealing with a caring and gracious owner/hostess. Thank you, Huma!
