  • Beautiful home, great stay

"Five adults thoroughly enjoyed this home and all that La Paz has to offer. First of all Terry and Brenda are so easy to deal with, the accompanying info once this booking was made was clear and helpful. Subsequent texts and calls to Terry answered all our questions and it is evident that they are working hard to make sure that guests needs are met. The home itself is well laid out with three bedrooms, two with private baths, and a third full bathroom available also. The house is well appointed and has almost everything you would need in terms of kitchen tools to cook that gourmet meal. The nights were cooler so we had no need to use the fans or the AC, although I understand that in the summer months this will not be the case. The roller blinds on the windows were also helpful in keeping the heat and the direct sun out. The house has a great view of the bay and city of La Paz, each night we were treated to a great sunset. The ten minute walk to the malecon was not a big deal and we certainly felt confident extending this as we walked to the market and to restaurants several times. That being said, driving is fine too, and parking on one of the side roads off the malecon was never an issue. Okay, when I say driving is is an experience, the stop signs seem to be optional (but I advise you to use them, since locals tend not to), speed can be very fast, or very slow...lane changes? meh....not for the faint of heart perhaps, but certainly an experience. La Paz offers up access to beautiful beaches, exceptional wildlife - i.e. whale sharks, and the sea lions at the world class Espiritu Santos, and great eating. The food ranges from local and inexpensive, to fine dining and still relatively inexpensive. Shopping was great at the local organic market on Tuesday's and Saturday's and other permanent markets provided great options for produce, sea food and meat. La Paz is not over developed to meet the needs of the tourists, but has everything one could ask for to allow a great time to be had. The home of Terry and Brenda is well located, and wonderfully resourced to allow you to have that great time."

  • Incredible best vacation ever, Condo was huge and the view was spectacular

"I can't believe the price they charge it should cost twice as much, swam with sea lions, kayaked with giant whale sharks, and well the fishing was incredible caught so many dorado and tuna we had to to give it away. Take your fish to the restaurant at the pool and they will cook any way you like, talk to Sergio the head the head chef he can make anything, food was fabulous. $50 for golf on the island, if you ever played golf on the baja is such a bargain. Booking me next vacation as soon as I get home. Truly paradise.."

  • Great !

"This is a great property. There is a BBQ, jacuzzi and private outdoor kitchen. But who wants to cook? There is a taco-rea a couple blocks away that served the most amazing Mexican food of my life. The Baja is safe and so fun to explore. From the big surf of the Pacific and its secluded beaches to the calm waters of the Cortez, its all within reach. The hosts are so nice and their dogs fun to play with."

  • Terrific Home and View

"Condo is roomy , bright , and quiet. Services are all very good. Manuel met us downtown to escort us to the condo. Excellent host and available if required which we did not need. Stayed for a month and took in all the sites in LaPaz plus went on excursions to the beaches ,Balandra and Tecolate. Went on road trips to La Ventana...kite and board sailing about 30 miles, Todo Santos ....beautiful period village about 45 miles and Cabos which are about 100 miles but more like Miami than mexico. Whale shark swimming and viewing was wonderful. Horse back riding 20 miles out for 2 1/2 hrs thru the desert on the beaches and all for $25 each. The view from your balconies is so beautiful to relax and enjoy just by itself. We will be back.....Still many restaurants we have not tried. I would recommend a car as the hill you are located on would be a challenge everyday. We drove the Baja so we had our own and the parking and complex are gated with security.............not that you ever felt unsafe . The people were super friendly everywhere. Have Fun."
