  • Gringo Stay In La Paz at Casa Abuelita

"The home is ideally situated near to Malecon, just a few blocks away. There is a convenient grocery nearby for almost all needs. The nearby restaurants were generally really good for late night dinners and just a few doors down an excellent bagel shop that makes killer breakfast sandwiches if you prefer not to cook at home. the house itself is very well appointed, 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. the living space is quiet comfortable. we spent most time in the outside small pool area and in the casita in the back, very private and weren't overseen by the neighboring buildings. the showers tend to spray wide outside the shower area so a little care and clean up is required. the house manager was very responsive and gave us a thorough introduction to the house and area. You will need a car getting around outside the immediate area especially the best beaches are a 20 minute drive to the north, Tecolate was the favorite as it has amenities needed to make a full day outing. We would definitely stay here again should we come back to La Paz."

  • A WONDERFUL STAY!

"We love this location in La Paz - beautiful little cove area just outside of the busy Malecon area. The condo is well appointed, and extremely comfortable. Bev is a delight to work with and we look forward to renting again with her at her wonderful La Paz Condo. Having been going to La Paz for years, La Concha is by far my favorite; modern, clean, beautiful pool, excellent security, nice beach access and well appointed with easy parking. Highly recommend!"

  • "Above and Beyond Expectation" is a silly understatement. "Spectacular" is more like it.

"Imagine you had a dream where you woke up in a luxurious villa artfully decorated with Mexican textiles and colors, and went downstairs to make your breakfast in a fully stocked chef's kitchen - outside - to the sound of birds chattering. Then your hosts offer to take you snorkeling among the sea lions, on their boat. Spend the day exploring town, and then wonder where to eat dinner. Choose a restaurant from the list of recommendations and heaven is yours again. Truly, Kevin and Christine give you the entire vacation experience as personal concierges, adventure-equipment suppliers, and kind friends. Every detail of the house has been thoughtfully considered from the choice of decor to dressers and shelves for your clothes - unpack, as if you live there. Need a snorkel? Kevin will personally outfit you. They will make arrangements for every whim, offer advice, and steer your vacation toward the time of your life. Each day, we awoke amazed and giddy in our exquisite environment, pool, home, kitchen, and of course JellyBean the wonder dog. If you truly want a vacation that requires nothing on your part but enthusiasm, this is where you stay. They are foodies, so don't bother with trial-and-error dining. Just go to every restaurant they've listed, as they reviewed them personally, the foodies that they are. We're still savoring some of the indescribable meals we ate. This is a complete vacation in every way, from the spectacular house, to sumptuous food, to peaceful relaxation."
