Andrea and Arnie’s property is perfect for a large family holiday . The description listed is spot on. It is really spacious and comfortable. On arrivalIt was absolutely spotless and there was a basket of cakes, tea , ground coffee and milk , which was a lovely touch . There were plenty of toys to occupy our toddlers and a lovely garden with a paddling pool. The beds are comfortable and 2 cots and 2 high chairs were provided for the babies . The bathrooms are nice and clean and the showers are good, good quality towels are provided. The kitchen was very well equipped. Andrea and Arnie responded quickly to a message for restaurant recommendations. We couldn’t fault the property . We are a family of 10 and didn’t feel on top of each other. I would thoroughly recommend this property and would definitely return.

Our stay at Jan,s very well appointed flat was outstanding! She has put a lot of thought into making her place comfortable for her guests! We also love the fact that she honors the history of her building. She also shares our common sense approach to protecting our environment. Further, you can’t beat the location. It is a very short walk to good restaurants and the beach. If you are planning to stay in East Wittering, stay at Jan’s.

We stayed in Mallards View for 2 nights during November 2023, so the whole area was quiet. The cottage was fantastically clean with nice decor, and small space was cleverly used. Great location to walk into Shanklin and you can even catch a bus. There is a lovely park and walking path (SS10 & 85) to town across the road. What didn't we love? Honestly nothing really bothered us, but choice of washing machine in the kitchen instead of a dishwasher may be a challenge for a larger group doing true self catering. The shower (no tub) is the size of a Japanese telephone booth. The property is very close to Church Road (30mph) but it was quiet at night.

We are a mature couple that wanted to just get away from the big city and immerse ourselves the the culture, people, location. 5 Priory was Perfect. Met our every expectation and was the best Home Base to explore the far Eastern Coast of Isle of Wight. Wonderful day trips up to Seaside and down the Ventnor. Great English Pubs and Grub. 1000 Vespa Rally at Sandown. Very easy driving. 5 Priory was quiet, lots of parking, and a beautiful deck on which to relax, coffee, and toddies. Martin was and exceptional host and always available even though he to was on Vacation. We totally recommend this listing. Dave & Sally

We arrived at the home and it was great. The home was tidy and clean. I loved the openness and how comfortable it was. The bed was so comfortable, I really hated getting up in the morning. The location fit our needs, it was close to Gosport and Portsmouth. It was close to stores. We loved the welcome basket it was a sweet surprise. We will definitely come back to this location. I wish we could have stayed longer. Three days was not enough. The Dairy Barn was just amazing. Comfortable, close to areas we wanted to explore and so peaceful. We had evening and morning birdsong to lull us to sleep and to wake. There were wonderful paths to follow and explore, beautiful sunsets from the top of the pasture. Sally and Michael were so kind, leaving a perfect welcome basket. If I could give 10 stars I would. We hope to be back to the Isle of Wight and we will definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay to see Isle of Wight. On the beach with many interesting things to do close by and easy access to the rest of the island. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
