The house was beautiful, it was great I Truly enjoyed having a garage to put my car in. So it didn't get so hot, the pool was gorgeous Andbig. The sauna was absolutely great as well. Everything was clean. She has a huge backyard. We absolutely loved and enjoyed staying there. We Booked again for next year.

Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at this proper for 6 weeks while they were repairing our Sanibel home. It was verbally and visually as described in the listing. Ricardo provided us with his cell number and was available for any questions or concerns. He also periodically checked to make sure all was well. The gulf course was open while we stayed so I cannot comment. Overall we enjoyed our stay and served its purpose well.

Sanibel SEAclusion, a wonderful Sanibel Island retreat

Very accommodating

Our work crew stayed at Gumbo Limbo and it was the perfect place for several adults to stay for extended work project. Communication with the owner/manager was easy and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again if there were projects on Sanibel.

Adorable cottage

My husband and I and our two kids (ages 5 and 9) spent five nights at The Shellbox over 4th of July weekend. We adored the place!! The vintage style of the cottage was just how we like it. The kitchen was well equipped (there are even good knives--hard to find at Vrbo properties) and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Our kids loved the pool, which we had all to ourselves!! I loved the short walk to the beach and all of the beach supplies that the owners provided (beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, and even a handy wagon that fit in its open position in the back of our van when we travelled to the beaches on Captiva)! It was also nice and quiet--no loud neighbors or noisy parties. Pamela and Philip were super easy to get in touch with, and promptly answered the questions we had. They even recommended some nearby restaurants that were great (though they forgot to mention The Bubble Room on Captiva--what an experience!) My husband said the cottage was his favorite part of the whole trip. We would definitely stay at The Shellbox again and absolutely loved our first visit to Sanibel Island!
