  • Lovely getaway

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is well-equipped with standard kitchen items and beach gear. We found everything to be clean and comfortable. We were there during very hot and humid weather with a tropical storm passing nearby, and the fans kept the condo reasonably cool. Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful location steps from the beach. We don't have children but saw many families enjoying the beach and lawn areas. Seems like a great place for families. I would definitely choose to come back to this property again! We enjoyed visiting Kauai Island Brewery and Grill in Port Allen, and the Friday night art walk in Hanapepe."

  • Great Condo in an Excellent Location

"Stayed here with my wife, and my sister and brother in laws. We all loved it. The condo is very clean and comfortable and Lynn was great to deal with when making the reservation. Just steps from our sliding front door is the pool. From the front of the pool we could see about two dozen sea turtles when we first arrived. Sunsets from here (and nearby) are magical. This is close to so many things - a short walk to Poipu beach, a short drive to Spouting Horn, and Shipwreck beach which has a very nice hiking trail to Mahaulepu beach (bring water for that hike!). It was very hard to leave here. I hope to come back to Kauai someday and stay here again!"

  • Brennecke's Beach Bungelow is the most relaxing, made for two place to stay in Poipu Beach, Kauai.

"We have stayed here 3 times. The Bungelow is has everything you need and then some. We BarBQ most days, we sit on the lanai and read and we take the 1 minute walk to the beach. It is definitely a place for an non-tourist experience. It feels like what your home would be like if you lived on the island. An peaceful experience for any two people. Can't wait to go back❤️❤️ The Rogers"

  • Perfect Spot for my Wife's 80th Birthday

"You cannot beat the location of this ground floor end unit. You do not have to “go” to the beach, you're there. Breakfast on the lanai offers outstanding views and the famous Poipu sunsets from the grass in front of our lanai provided for memorable experiences as well. This was our fourth stay at Kiahuna. On our most recent stay there we loved the beachfront location and had learned about it on your website so we stopped by and asked the current renters about their level of satisfaction with the unit and the owners. High marks on both scores. In April of 2015 my wife decided that she’d like to return to Kiahuna to celebrate her 80th. I got in touch with the co-owner by email and we made the appropriate arrangements. He proved to be exceptionally responsive and affable so we have been able to do everything by email. This unit is managed by Castle Resorts. They do a good job and try to be as responsive as possible to their guests. In this particular case they did an outstanding job of assuring a Disabled Parking spot very close to the condo by actually creating one for me. The advantage of an end unit is that one has excellent cross ventilation as well as more light (we have stayed in a middle unit before and, believe me, ends are better). The furniture was in excellent condition and the kitchen furnished fully as one would expect. When we go back I’ll get better instructions on how to use the cable TV more effectively but we did all right. The wi-fi signal was very strong at all times. Our ten-night stay included one day’s housekeeping services in the rate and we were given our choice of when that was to be. We chose the Wednesday (we had arrived Friday) and were allowed to select the time for that service. It was done completely with all linens swapped out and all expendable items replaced. Everything worked as expected and things were, as the Brits say, “in good nick.” We got home late Monday night and I wrote this on Wednesday because I wanted to do it while everything was fresh in my mind. But, prior to doing so, I contacted the owner and booked the condo for the same time next year. Another happy birthday at Kiahuna, something to look forward to with great anticipation!"
