Vacation rentals near West Chop Light

This apartment is new, clean, well equipped and quiet. The owner has clearly thought about everything you may need for your stay and has made those things available to you. The apartment and the owner are both very nice, and we highly recommend this property. The property is located about 7 minutes from downtown Edgartown. We did not have a car, so we took Uber/Lyft which was about 14. The VTA #6 is a 10 min walk away and runs every hour. You may time your departure by watching the #6 progress on vta.mytransitride.com. It was amazing. It had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. Vert spacious and clean. Every appliance you could imagine. Communication was great and prompt. It's off the beaten path which was great when you come from New York.

The cottage was perfect for a week stay for a friend and myself. There were thoughtful design touches that made this place feel homey and personalized (loved all the glassware!). There were a bit more bug friends than I would've hoped which wasn't unexpected given that it was a more rustic cottage and it was earlier in the season, but owner may want to give the property another spray around door and window frames. Otherwise, perfect location, amazing yard, and comfy bed!

We stayed for three nights and were thrilled with the property, host, and location. Clean apartment close to edgartown and oak bluffs. Host communicates well and was very accommodating. Will be renting again.

My family had an incredible time staying at this house. My two kids (ages 3 and 1.5) loved looking for frogs in the pond and my dog loved running around the large yard. During the day, we went to the beach right down the road and at night, we went out to dinner in a nearby town or ate at home and made s’mores by the fire. I highly recommend if you want to have a perfect vacation.

I brought my 16 yr old daughter here with 4 of her friends as well as my 18yo and her best friend. This was the perfect set up for us. The 7 teens aged 16-18 loved the glass house and having rooms set around the courtyard. The girls were up late playing board and card games in the dining room every night. For me it was perfect to have the studio set away from the main house where I could retire to early. We have been coming to Chilmark for 13 years and this house was so unique and had many neat features. The outdoor shower was the best outdoor shower experience I have ever had - the bamboo surrounding and spacious shower were highlights! Proximity to menemsha was great. 15 min walk to menemsha for the best sunsets ever which is nice since parking can be tricky at menemsha. Thank you Joe for a great stay!
