UNIT DESCRIPTION: Our townhome, which we lovingly call the "Chili Inn", is in Miners Run, a smaller condo complex in the Wildernest subdivision above Silverthorne. As owners, we spend time here and take care to make sure all details are attended to.

Located at the back of the complex, this quiet unit backs to National Forest and overlooks the Keystone slopes and the Dillon reservoir. Relax in the seven-person hot tub and take it all in. Inside, you will find all the comforts of home including a well-appointed kitchen, two living areas, and more in this 2000 square foot unit. An ideal set up for multiple families or couples.

At the Chili Inn you'll be able to take advantage of what many visitors consider a favorite home-base in Summit County due to its central location. Why the Owner Chose Miners Run

We bought our condo so that we would have a comfortable home base to come to when visting the mountains. We wanted a place that was close to everything and offered entertainment in all seasons. With a growing family, we also love the family friendly atmosphere of the area. We come up regularly, so we chose a place that felt like a home away from home to us and anyone that stays here. We also wanted a place that could comfortably accommodate two families as we often visit with friends.

The Unique Benefits at this Townhome

Our condo is situated at the base of Buffalo Mountain with beautiful views of Dillon Reservoir and the local ranges. Our condo backs to open space. You can walk right out the door to start your hike. With six great ski areas within half an hour, we can take full advantage of all the great skiing. And we never get bored with just one option.

We keep the condo well appointed with the staples in the pantry and plenty of games, books, DVDs, and other entertainment. The private hot tub that overlooks the open space and reservoir is a perfect way to relax at the end of any day.

Since we stay in the condo often, we are constantly upgrading it for our (and your) mutual enjoyment each year. Recent examples are fresh paint throughout the condo, a new hot tub, new living room furniture, and a gutter heating system to keep the deck clear in the winter.

Owner's Map of Miners Run

We have lived in Colorado for almost ten years and are still finding new amazing things every time we go exploring. We love the outdoors in all seasons - hiking and skiing, canoing and biking.

We have loved every minute that we've spent here! It's been wonderful to get out of the Texas heat, of course, but it's alos been great to be in such a relaxing, quiet location. Your condo is decorated perfectly for the mountains and the chili peppers just make us smile. The kitchen is better equipped than mine! We have seen fox, moose (bull, mama and two babies) and just missed a bear (thank heavens!) down the hill! We have fallen in love with the Blue River and hope to be back next summer.

Had a great time skiing and playing in the hottub. Made many great memories with our boys skiing through the trees at Copper, getting out of the hottub rolling in the snow and jumping back in, and digging a snow cave. When we come back I hope we can stay here again. Its the little things that make the biggest impression. For me it's the rain gutter over the hottub. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Chili Inn with our family. There were six adults and one two year old. The pack and play, booster seat, and legos were much appreciated. Our days we spent hiking, biking, fishing, sightseeing, and shopping. Our evenings were spent here just hanging out. The Chili Inn is a nice home! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Best equipped condo we ever stayed in. Nicely furnished, everything you could ask for. Hot tub was a blessing after a day of skiing, especially for us older ones in the group. The kids loved the family room downstairs where they could watch their own shows and movies. Our favorite place to eat was "The Dam Brewery." Food was good! Recommend the shrimp ravioli! Had some nice dinners here also, kitchen not lacking anything. Grilled steaks and hamburgers on the gas grill. Everyone had a great time. now, we gotta go home and get back to work. Can't wait to come back!
