This was our second trip back to this charming treetopper. We enjoyed another wonderful stay with beautiful weather and plenty to do in Big Canoe. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure everything is well appointed and comfortable. I am sure this will not be our last trip! Georgia's cabin was scenic and very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is tiny but we wanted to eat out anyway and there is a gas grill and furniture on the balcony, with delightful mountain and lake views, and another dining spot inside. Our stay was quiet and serene, good for reading and watching deer cross the property. Big Canoe offers a lot for nature lovers and nearby Gibbs Gardens is beautiful too. The cabin was a good value and we would definitely recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary and it was just wonderful. There were wild turkeys and deer that we watched from the deck. The view overlooks Lake Petit, which we also rented a canoe on and had a great time. Plus, the hiking trails are great and plentiful. Overall a really great stay in Big Canoe in this lovely little tree topper.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

This place was the perfect place for me and my wife to have romantic night away from the stressful day to day life! Georgia, this will not be the last time we come! We enjoyed the great views, comforts, and the nature this little cabin offers. Pictures does not do it justice! We loved the new deck, new furniture, the beautiful view, we were even lucky enough to see a deer laying just below the deck one morning! The pools were fabulous and we spent lots of time there making new friends. We loved it and we will be returning soon!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We headed to Big Canoe for a Friday evening wedding at The Chimneys. Had seen the treetoppers before so were aware of their cozyness. This is one of the smaller tree houses but ohhh so wonderful! Beautifully furnished and a gorgeous view of the lake. Got there early enough to take a walk and enjoy the peaceful setting. Very comfortable bed and thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the deck watching the boats in the morning. Lunch at the Tavern was good too! Would be happy to come here again and enjoy this little gem for 2. Rental process was easy and Georgia was most helpful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We spent three nights at this adorable "cottage"-- July 20th 'til 22nd. It was really well equipped and the bed was so comfortable plus the thick towels were amazing. There was ample room for my husband and me (plus our two small dogs) and the space was utilized really well. The view from the deck is lovely. We just wish we could have stayed much longer!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

We booked this treetopper for our wedding weekend at Big Canoe. The only thing I wish for is to have been able to spend more quality time with my fiance but we were too busy attending to our wedding and guests. It is by far super-romantic and the decor and lighting make it so intimate. The bed is so comfortable and shower has great pressure. The view is the best as far as treetoppers go. We hope to make this our anniversary destination. The owner is wonderful too! Thank you for an awesome weekend.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
