Fantastic everything! The apartment, location, the owner, etc. The apt is perfect for 4 - 6 persons and is prettier than the pictures! The apt is spotless and well equipped and is very charming. It is in a perfect location and is walking distance to a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, shops and any historical sight. The area is very safe. We stayed for 4 nights and we never had any problems. During our planning we emailed Elina the owner many times with questions. She would respond immediately with very helpful information which made our planning easier. She was great! We highly recommend this perfect apartment in beautiful Roma and hope to return someday!

What can I say, the apartment was charming, warm, and nothing short of a tonic for my soul. Yes it's clean, yes the beds are comfortable, yes it's in a great location. But much of its charm comes from the aesthetic sensibility that went into its renovation. What is seen in the pictures on this site, stated and is promise is absolutely true. It was an ideal location and close to everything - metro, food shops, famous sites, and restaurants. It was cleaned and very well maintained. I'll be back, for sure.

Me and my friend spent some days in Rome and we were really lucky to choose Elina’s apartment. The place and the neighborough was simply perfect we were looking for, we enjoed Italian breakfast with “cappuccino and cornetto”. In evening was fantastic the big choice of restaurants just around the corner. Everything was so close to this apartment really amazingly located in the very heart of Rome. We’ll be back soon

We were very satisfied with our staying at and can highly recommend it. Very friendly reception on arrival. The extensive information about everything conceivable to be found in the apartment was flawless and very helpful. After the instructions, we were ready to explore Rome on day one and had an excellent vacation.

Rating5 out of 55 Very good experience staying here Bob from NY New York, USA Review Submitted: April 1, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009 My wife and 2 young adult children stayed for 3 nights in the apartment and were very pleased. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with in terms of advance arrangements. The apartment was clean and functional--not luxious but more than adequate for us. The interior bedroom with 2 double beds is very large; closet space is adequate. The kitchen and bathroom were very good for what we needed. The location is superb--very close and easy walking to bus, good restaurants, the Vatican and other tourist areas. On the day we left Rome, it was an easy, quick bus ride to the train station. The apartment is a little difficult to find because it is on a very small street, but that is the only negative and not a problem after you've located the apartment. We would definitely stay there again.

The apartment is as advertised. We arrived late at night (11:30pm or so) from our flight and were welcomed by the owner, Elina. She was very accommodating, explaining to us about the neighborhood and the workings of the apartment. Later on in the trip when we needed help booking an early morning taxi to take us to the airport she was very helpful, calling the taxi company, giving precise directions to the apartment and letting us know that the price quoted was reasonable. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we would need (espresso maker, pots and pans, etc.) We cooked dinner ourselves several nights. There are two grocery stores nearby where you can get all the fixings to make a delicious Italian dinner. There are also several good restaurants nearby. Taverna was one of our favorites. If you walk around the neighborhood at night you will see which restaurants are full of locals, which will help you figure out which ones to go to. The apartment is well situated for seeing the sites and walking around the city. Our first day we walked from the apartment to Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore, the Pantheon, the Forum/Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, then back to the apartment. It was a full day, but all of these sites are within walking distance of the apartment. In the opposite direction is the Vatican City, with Saint Peter’s being less than 1 mile away and the Vatican museums a bit further (probably 1.3 miles or so). Overall it’s a great location to see the sites from. I would rent the apartment again and recommend to a friend. In all it was a great value given all the amenities and the location of the apartment.
Owner response:Hi Stacey, the fact that you enjoyed your stay with your friends make me very happy. I know that this area where the apartment is located is the best place to enjoy the real flavour of old times and at the same time the pleasure of being in the heart of culture. I hope to see you soon, Elina

Perfect location central to just about everything. The apartment worked well for my large family it had everything we needed to make our stay in Rome perfect. It was fully self contained, well maintained, and clean. There were local shops nearly just outside our door for all the supplies you could need. Walking distance to the Vatican, Piazza Navona and lots more. The owner, Elina was absolutly wonderful and extremely helpful. Even looked into where we could park our vehicle for the week while in Rome before we arrived. This made it so much easier for us. He then assist us with the vehicle drop off once we unloaded and got us all settled. Luigi was the perfect host answering all our questions before arrival and during our stay. We would definatly recommend this property to anyone even to someone like us - a family with 5 children. The apartment was so close to everything it made our week in Rome so enjoyable and by day 3 of our 7 days we almost felt like locals. We all loved our stay and will hopefully one day return. Thankyou very much Elina for a great experience in Rome when we return we will be sure to look you up. If ever in Riga Elina we would love to return the hospitality!
