Such a great time. Stayed in late summer and found this the absolute perfect "home base" for our Glacier Vacation. So much to see and do close by but we had a hard time leaving the cabin every morning. Perfect spot to sip a coffee and fish while watching the sun rise over the mountain peaks. Very quick drive to West Glacier and the entrance to the park. Lots of fun local bars nearby and 5 min to all summer activities. The cabin was the perfect place to crash after a long day hiking and long night partying,,very clean, comfortable and spacious. Darlene was very helpful and the perfect owner. Our group cannot wait to return and highly encourage anyone coming to Glacier to stay here!!!!

Your house is absolutely wonderful. We have stayed in many rental houses, and by far, yours is the cleanest and best cared for property we've seen. Thank you for allowing us to live there for the week and enjoy all the area has to offer. The weather wasn't great, but that didn't stop us from doing all we could in and around the park. We so enjoyed your home with its incredible views of the river and the park. It was hard to leave everyday but such a wonderful treat to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. So, thanks again for making things so comfortable and helping us have a family vacation we won't soon forget.

Real Estate folks always talk about location, location, location. This property is the right location, location, location. It is close to Glacier National Park. It is close to stores. While all the time you think you are in a luxurious retreat area by yourself. Two couples each had their own very large bedrooms, closets and bathrooms. The living area was a great open space and the views of the river from the deck are wonderful. Everything about this VRBO property are excellent. We called this piece of Paradise home for the first week of July 2011. What a great experience.

Our expectations were exceeded by this well maintained property. We spent more time at the house than I expected, largely because my kids and I both wanted to fish both early morning and late afternoon on the easily reached (by trail) Flathead River immediately below the house. We caught a few rainbow trout but the time with them was even more special. One morning we saw river otters swimming upstream. Another day we watched the eagles across the river. The house is well built and maintained, very comfortable and very well equipped. The beds were particularly comfortable, if that is a concern when you travel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Glacier Park is nearby and there's so much to see and do. We took the Highway to the Sun,rafted, hiked, rode horses,and/or fished. We also enjoyed just relaxing and spending time together in the privacy of this attractive, comfortable house on the beautiful Flathead River. There was plenty of room for all six of us: great-grand parents, grand parents, and two pre-teen granddaughters. We ate out a few times (the Isac Walton Inn was an unexpected treat) but had most of our meals "at home". The kitchen and dining lay-out made family meals pleasant, convenient and economical., Most of the property is level; there are only a few steps to the porch. The path to the river is steep but the big windows and covered deck provide a constant view of the water. We all enjoyed watching the eagles and their babies in the nest across the river.. Everyone had such a good time! Hope we can do it again!

We had a delightful time and absolutely loved this home by the Flathead River. The owners have certainly thought of everything in designing and furnishing this home. We can easily see why they love it so much. The library of Glacier information was so helpful in planning our activities. We looked forward to returning to the home in the evenings and fishing on the Flathead--even caught a few. We would highly recommend it.

We spent a week in the Glacier National Park area, staying at the house. It was wonderful. The house was delightful. The back porch was such a pleasant place to sit in the morning for breakfast and in the evening after a long day of hiking. I particularly enjoyed the fishing, right down the path to the edge of the river. I had to release most of the trout since they were cut-throat and endangered but did catch a couple of nice keepers. I caught most of them in the morning but had some luck in the evening as well. Enjoy the stay. We did and would not hesitate to go back.

Just a quick note for any of you considering a visit to the Galcier National Park area. Whether you're looking for a great family vacation with all the activities or just a place to relax and decompress, this is the spot. This is a wonderful home on the Flathead River backed by beautiful mountain vistas from the deck. Our 10 year old fisherman was very happy to catch trout everyday in the river and take a quick swim. We had a great time exploring the park, traveling the Going to the Sun Road, hiking trails and eating huckleberry ice cream. Every evening was spent back at the house. With a well stocked kitchen and the barbeque grill, dinners were on the deck watching the sun set and deciding what we would do the next day. The home and the owner are wonderful. Make the most of your vacation and book some time here soon. The Heise's

We just returned from an awesome week's stay at this beautifully decorated and equipped home on the Flathead River. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic mountain view from the deck and the wonderful fishing and swimming on the river. We caught Cutthroat and Bull trout and enjoyed our evening dips in the river after our daily hikes in West Glacier Natl Park, which is only minutes away from the home. I would recommend this home to anyone desiring the beautiful surroundings and the nice privacy it has to offer. We had a wonderful time. The Harris Family
