About Geri Cochrane

We fell in love with Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley on our one year anniversary. As a physical therapist and a nurse we enjoy being active and spending time with our three kids in the outdoors. We are amazed at the variety of outdoor opportunities all within close proximity of our home. Whether hiking in Glacier National Park or rafting the Flathead River there is no shortage of fun activities. We are thrilled to share our home on the beautiful Flathead River so others can experience this amazing part of North America.

Very comfortable, clean, and in a perfect location!

Sept 10-17, 2016

This was THE perfect house to stay in for our family vacation - 12 minutes to the west entrance to GNP, 10 minutes to Columbia Falls and 20 minutes to Kalispell and Whitefish. The house was nicely decorated, very clean, and overlooked a river. Geri was always very responsive and helpful in answering my many questions from when we first scheduled our trip to the end. If you're looking for a place to stay on your visit to GNP, look no further. You will not be disappointed with the location or accommodations.

Perfect getaway location

  • 5 of 5

Our family of six stayed at the Glacier Riverside Lodge this past week of August 2016. When we inquired about the property, we were delighted to meet Geri the property manager. She was warm, very informative and patiently answered all our questions and emails, this being our first trip to Glacier National Park. She checked with us upon our arrival and left her phone number should we have any issues. She even loaned us a can of bear spray. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and meticulously maintained home. The location was perfect, only a short distance from the west gate of Glacier and a short drive to the quaint town of Whitefish where we explored a variety of restaurants and shops . The home's 2nd floor master bedroom was spacious with a comfortable foam mattress. And the two bedrooms on the first floor had new queen mattresses. We appreciated the air conditioner on the warmer days, while the gas grill on the deck overlooking the river along with the fire pit below allowed us to enjoy serene evenings. We hiked in the park each day, it was fabulous!. Neighbors are nearby but the setting is very private. Our family would not hesitate to return to this lovely home in beautiful Montana.

A really fabulous house.

  • 5 of 5

This house was even better than the VRBO description and photos! Super clean and very well appointed. We arrived at 4:00 p.m. and found everything exactly as promised. Entrance to the house was easy. The location is perfect for easy access to Kalispell, Whitefish, and Glacier National Park. The information provided by the owners was extremely helpful, and the check-in/check-out instructions were clear and straight-forward. We enjoyed the great view of the river and the really quiet neighborhood. This house was a perfect setting for the final three days of our trip to Seattle, Victoria, B.C. and Glacier. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful home with us. You can't go wrong with this one!

Nice views from the deck. Convenient to the West entrance to Glacier NP and to Whitefish area.

  • 5 of 5

This house is in the town of Hungry Horse and has next-door neighbors, but there are trees and you don't notice them much. The view from the back and the deck is lovely overlooking the river and trees on the opposite bank. The house is comfortable and clean. Master suite is upstairs, everything else is on main level. Arrival and departure were easy. Geri was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of. There is a small grocery store in Hungry Horse, and a fun restaurant and gift shop with many huckleberry products. West Glacier and Columbia Falls are very close, and Whitefish is not far if you are looking for shopping or fine dining. It was really easy to get in to Glacier NP from here. Highly recommend.

Owner's Response: Even though the town of Hungry Horse is small, there is a great little grocery store around the corner, as well as nearby restaurants and a coffee stand. Glacier Grill in Coram is very good and is just a couple miles up the road.
