Luxury Poipu Beach Oceanfront Oceanview Condo
- Minimum stay:4 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
Beautiful, large (1170 square feet), one bedroom, two bath Condo in the upscale complex of Kapili on the South Kauai Coast.
The lanai has a very nice view of the ocean across the well manicured grounds, yet is far enough inside the complex to be free of noise from activities at the shore. Just a two to three minute walk to famous Poipu beach at the Sheraton Kauai. Restaurants and shopping is a two minute drive by car.
The Condo is located on the ground floor literally a few steps from the pool. Although close to the pool, the noise is reduced by the lush landscaping. Excellent for children to play outside on the green space or around the pool.

From : Rex Rathbun Property : Poipu Kapili #39 Date : April 06, 2011 Status : Published Subject : Contents : 2 really great weeks. Lots of sunshine, bur a bit windy for both weeks. Rained very little except the 2nd time we played Golf at that great little and very inexpensive Kukuiolono course in Kalaheo. Your unit was very nice, and well furnished with all of the necessary items. TV was excellent and the pool is so close it is really great. Bill and Kay were great with info etc, but only talked to them twice. Gave them a verbal and written suggestions for the following. Oil the main door lock, it is not working with ease. Clothes dryer vent hose has a leak close to the water older, should be an easy fix with some duct tape. Outdoor furniture really needs to be replaced, tried to clean it, but it is just to old. Bedroom sliding window needs oil also, almost impossible to open and close. Living room slider screen, both need oil, and the one closest to the mountains needs replacing as it falls out of the tracks almost every time moved. Sorry to have so many comments as we also own a Condo in the Cascades and have experence in lots of similar problems especially the small things that need attention before they become big. Again we had a great time and think your unit is excellent. P S Your codo assocation management could do better on keeping the Propane tanks full.Did you find this review helpful? Hi Jim, Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed staying in your condo when we were in Kauai. It is such a spacious and well appointed unit and, of course, the location can't be beat. I'd also like to thank you for being so flexible with our travel dates. Flying space available has its pluses and minuses. Hope we can be guests again some time in the future. Warm regards, Carolyn GambaDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Hi, I can't seem to login to the guest survey so I'll just email it to you directly. We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. We really appreciated the little touches that were provided in the condo such as CDs and movies, notes pads and pens, as well as quality dishes and bowls. It made the condo really homey. My 4 year old son really enjoyed the pool and playing with the noodle that was in the closet. He made friends with many of the other children staying in the complex. He also loved playing with the Hawaiian Go Fish cards (We bought a set before we left). We would definitely stay there again. Regards, JungDid you find this review helpful? We've stayed here from last year. We feel it's like our home. We didn't anything special, just cooked dinner, relaxed at the swimming pool, check the internet, went to beaches. We want to come back here near future. Thank you Jim! Mariko Yoshimoto (Tokyo, Japan, Japan) Date: August 01, 2010Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We enjoyed our stay at Poipu Kapili #39 very much. Most of what we needed was available to us. Our only concern was that the Emergency Kit was seriously lacking. The power went out the last night we were there, but the flashlight didn't have any batteries - it didn't even have a bulb in it! The four tea candles that were provided were halfway gone, so it was difficult to light them. Thankfully, the Resident Manager (Kay) let us borrow a flashlight. Other than that we were happy. Thank you again. Veronica Delvo (Clallam Bay, WA, United States) Date: December 01, 2009Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed here for 4 nights. The condo is very nice and spacious. The grounds of Poipu Kapili are also very nice. The location is also very good. The condo was also within walking distance of the beach. It's about a 7-10 min walk. We also had a very nice view of the ocean. Now for a couple of things we thought could use some improvement. There is a/c in the bedroom only. We knew that most condos do not have a/c at all because the tradewinds are so prevalent. This wasn't the case when we stayed there which made it very hot in the living area. There were also painters that were directly in front of the condo lanai for 3 straight days which gave us no privacy from 8-5 each day since we had to keep the door open because of the heat. We know this was something that was scheduled and had to be done, but it was an inconvenience nonetheless. We liked to stay at Poipu Kapili #39! Some guests said that need A/C, but we don't need it and enough to comfortable with ceiling fans. There are everything what we want items, especially at the kitchen. If I would say for requests... mosquito sticks and body boards will be consider to provide here. We would like to come back again in near future! Thank you Jim! Mariko Mariko Yoshimoto (Tokyo, Japan, Japan) Date: July 26, 2009Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We're a family of four adults from New Zealand who stayed at Poipu Kapili #39 from 30 July until 7 August 2008. We had the most wonderful stay at the condo. It was spacious, clean, peaceful, extremely well-equipped and in a beautiful setting. The pool was a stone's throw away and when we weren't at the beach close by, looking at turtles or exploring the island, we were relaxing there. We cooked at the condo most evenings and bought our groceries from Big Save in Koloa Old Town. We would definitely stay at Poipu Kapili #39 again and highky recommend it if you are thinking of staying on Kaui'i.
