Kiahuna Plantation probably has some of the most beautiful grounds of all the properties around. Our unit was clean, and had all the kitchen essentials you’d need for a nice vacation. The bed setup was not my favorite(small uncomfortable pillows) but that obviously a personal preference. The unit was as advertised in every way aside from the sound proofing. Maybe it should’ve been obvious being called Kiahuna plantation but there are not exterior soundproof windows. They are just plantation shutters. They are private, but you will hear all the sounds from outside, and you’ll hear inside sounds from outside. On one hand that’s really nice as you can hear the sounds of the sea and birds, but you also hear the road noise, and conversations, and construction work going on. The pool, hot tub, and gym are part of a shared athletic club across the street. Which is fine, they are really nice facilities. Depending on where you stay in this property it is more walkable than other units. Particularly because there is road construction happening that limits your ability to walk there. The beach access is great, it’s a fantastic beautiful public beach.(Kiahuna Beach) shared with the Sheraton resort. Host was great, communicated everything we needed to know. Would totally recommend it to somebody else.
