Year Purchased: 2006
Casey & Tamara have owned the property since 2007 and have been managing the duplex style home ever since. The Charming Townhouse has been a vacation rental since the purchase of the property and in late 2009 they also turned the second unit (the Comfy Cottage)into a vacation rental as well. Casey and Tamara take great pride in their rentals and hope that our renters feel the passion that we have for the property.
Why the Owner Chose Golden
We have always loved Golden and when we decided to purchase a rental property here location was very important to us. We wanted a house that was within walking distance to downtown Golden but located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The property is a duplex style home with two vacation rentals. Each rental has it's own fenced yard and has an amazing view of Lookout Mountain. Each unit is quiet and comfortable and has it's own uniqueness. I love that there are walking and biking trails all around us.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

We drove from snowless Minnesota to spend Christmas with our daughter. Golden had a foot of snow and downtown was decorated like a postcard. Tamara's Charming Townhome was the perfect setting for our Christmas vacation. Plenty of room for a family of five to eat, sleep and watch movies after shopping and sight seeing all day. The kitchen provided all the necessities to make a holiday dinner. Dining room was plenty big for us all to sit together. It even had a festive table cloth with the linens. Dreams do come true!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Great condo for our family to relax, cook, have fun and make wonderful memories together. Shower is tiny, but who spends much time there?!! Living/Dining area were perfect for hanging out and the kitchen was big enough to cook for a small crowd. Convenient location, loved the mountain/sunrise/sunset views. Tamara was very helpful and responsive. Would consider this property again for a visit with our daughter.

Thank you! We loved our time in Golden. The house was clean, comfortable & quiet! Tamara was so helpful $ accomodating! The fresh tomatoes.&.peppers from the garden were a wonderful addition to our meals-that we enjoyed eating in the fabulous backyard with the mountain views! The views from the living room were some of our favorites!! And the house is in a great location for base while visiting Boulder & Red Rocks. Highly recommend any of the Meeks properties!

We stayed in the charming townhouse while we were in the process of buying a house and had a nice experience there. My FAVORITE part of the stay was the wonderful view at night. From the large windows you can see the twinkling lights of Denver and Golden as well as the beautiful landscapes of Golden's table mountains. The property was very clean, nice big TV, washer, dryer, etc. You can walk downtown to shops, coffee, restaurants, parks. The owner is very friendly and professional, all transactions were very easy.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is a very comfortable house with lots of room to spread out in. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was flexibility with the scheduling, which made things easier for us. We really enjoyed our stay in Golden - and the shopping - and hope to be back soon. All the shops were very convenient. We'd recommend this house to anyone needing a place to stay in Golden

This is a perfectly cared for comfortable and inviting getaway house that’s close to everything. The location is only a short walk to downtown Golden and a short drive to Echo Mountain. Well appointed, quiet, clean and very comfortable describe this place. The amenities and attention to detail made for a relaxing and very comfortable vacation. We had a blast in Golden!
