Why the Owner Chose Port Angeles

As General and Electrical Contractors, we were hired 11 years ago to rebuild the dock and then work on the Cabin, including foundation, installing power, adding a bath with shower and adding a kitchen. Mrs. Beam approached us 10 years later about purchasing, knowing our knowledge of the cabin. Additionally, Sheryl is 3rd generation on Lake Crescent, her Grandfather built Log Cabin Resort and sold it in the 1970's.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

The Beam Cabin enjoys one of the most private beaches on the entire Lake. With 200' of sandy beach, the cabin sits at waters edge. The 200' path down to the beach from the private parking area completes your entrance to this wonderful place! The 80' dock will accomodate any vessel, the firepit is ready for your outdoor fire, the inside offers a cozy wood stove with all firewood provided. The four new queen beds upstairs share the open room with 3 beds in front of the windows for lakeside viewing. There are five acres for you to hike and explore, plus much, much more.

Owner's Map of Port Angeles

    • We really enjoyed our recent stay at Beam Cabin! It was great to be back again. We have rented self-catering places in Europe, Hawaii and the South Pacific and this is by far the most well equipped place we have ever stayed. The main thing we like about Beam Cabin is that it does not feel like a vacation rental. It is so well stocked and cozy, you feel as if you are at home, and a heavenly one at that. Owners Sheryl and Andy take great pains to make you feel welcome and well taken care of in every way. Thanks for sharing your bit of paradise. We can't wait to come back again!

This is our second trip here. Weather did not cooperate with us until 2nd to the last day but we still swam, hiked and loved it. Planning our next year visit. So hard to leave dreaming of Beam Cabin until 2010.

Thank you so much for the lovely vacation. We enjoyed every minute! The problem is that we are so relaxed that I do not know how we are gong to pack up and leave! We feel as if we are embraced by the mountains in the beautiful spot!

We loved the cabin! Absolutely beautiful view and so peaceful. The boys swam and swam, fished off the dock and explored. The grown ups relaxed, swam, and read. Thank you verymuch for sharing the Beam Cabin! We would love to come back, cannot get over the beautiful, peaceful view!

10 year old Ashlynn writes -We had a wonderful time! We made fires and roasted marshmellows! We also played lots of monopoly! It was really hot so we swam a lot! The cabin was great as usual! One day it was 97 degrees in the shade! This cabin is comfortble and also very cozy! We wish we didn't have to leave! We had a great time and we will be back for our 4th visit next year. PS. Great and fun cabin!

    • The pictures do not do justice to this very special place. The location is breath-taking and extremely relaxing. Sheryl’s attention to providing every comfort gives the cabin that real sense of a home away from home that you just slip into. For us accommodation makes or breaks a holiday. Having holidayed extensively in Europe in rented houses and villas over the last 20 years, Beam Cabin is the most unique and relaxing place that we’ve ever stayed in. We just wish it was our! Sheryl and Andy are very lucky to own such a uniquely wonderful piece of America.

    • How peaceful and relaxing to sit on the cabin's porch, or at the end of the dock, with coffee in hand and listen to the lapping waves of the crystal clear Lake Crescent. Beam Cabin is lovely and provides all the comforts of home. My family and I had a very enjoyable stay and hope to return for a longer stay.

Thankyou so much for sharing your wonderful cabin. It is a beautiful spot and convenient to the sights we wanted to see in the area. The weather could have been better, but the boys did get to take the rowboat out. I really don't believe there is even one fish in this lake! We found everything we needed in the cabin, especially coffee - which we forgot to bring. We all enjoyed the "Policitally Correct Bedtime Stories" and some scrabble marathons. We would enjoy coming again sometime.
