Dear Ned, We really enjoyed our stayed in your lovely townhouse in P-town! The location was especially nice. It was so remote and peaceful yet so accessible to everything. Your place gets great light, I absolutely loved that and the awesome views! I hope to come back soon. Sincerely, Diane P

I have stayed at many houses on VRBO but this was THE best! Well appointed, beautiful furnishings & bedding and the perfect location. With 4 teenagers and a young puppy it was a full house, but everyone was comfortable and happy. Great beaches to run the dog. And perfect to get in and out of town quickly and easily. And all with a pair of delightful owners. We all hope to return.

This home is just as nice as described. The owners were very accommodating and informative on area. Great location; wonderful views; 2 of the world’s best beaches (Herring Cove and Race Point) are within minutes. Walk or bike to center of town. You will never regret staying here.

Outstanding Accomodations

Annual trip with three high school friends who have known each other for over 35 years. The accommodations were comfortable lux, with the most amazing views. Loved the local books scattered throughout condo, as well as the two decks which we were able to enjoy given the mild weather. Condo well stocked with everything we needed and linens were top quality. As we are all active, walked everywhere which offered opportunity to burn off calories from number of fantastic dinners (check out Waterford Inn on East End of Commercial for a fig-prosciutto goat cheese pizza to die for, along with their blue cheese burger). Recommend others do the same, as walks to town allow opportunity to enjoy local architecture, gardens and friendly residents. Early morning walks through dunes to beach provided needed solitude (not a soul on beach). A perfect escape which we will all look forward to enjoying again next spring! Susan Oldrid Somerset, MA

Gorgeous townhouse with beautiful oceanviews!

The townhouse is beautiful and inviting. I was so happy to find everything was provided for us. Everything was so comfortable and warm. There were three couples in our group and every time one came in the first words out of our mouths were "Wow, this place is beautiful!" We set off on our long weekend with no plans, figuring we'd wing it, and we did. We took the short walk into town daily to go to restaurants and go shopping. Across the road was a rock jetty that stretched across the water to another beach, we were told by another resident that she was able to see whales out there when she walked out at high tide. We hung out by the dunes across from the house, and then went on to walk to the beach. We rented bikes and rode through town and on the bike path to the beach. We also took sailing lessons and played tennis! The possibilities were endless! We were all sad when we had to leave, but it was so refreshing and relaxing that it felt like we had been gone for a week! I would highly recommend this townhouse, in fact we are hoping to get more friends together next year and rent two townhouses! We can't wait!

Beautiful Panoramic, Restful and FUN!

Date of Stay: 08/30/08 Review Submitted: 12/21/08

This vacation by far exceeded all expectations!!! Six of us made the trip looking forward to a week of activities or not... depending on who we were. Upon arrival we were greeted by our hosts who gave aus a complete tour of the home, as well as provided lots of insight regarding what to do, who to see and where to go. The beauty of this fantastic vacation home is its location! Just close enough to town to be able to take a leisurely walk, but situated just far enough to enjoy the panoramic scenes located just outside. You can actually park the car and not use it again until its time to leave. Directly facing the protected parkland and beaches with a completely unobstructed view, one gets the feeling they have the whole of the cape to themselves. In the evening, as the sun began to sink to the horizon, we were blown away by the awe inspiring sunsets. Sitting on the deck, we had an endless view of a beautiful night sky. Just imagine a sailboat off in the horizon, silhouetted against a fiery red sky, while the native cranes take flight. Our hosts were extremely gracious, and really allowed us to make the place our own. So gracious, they even went out of their way to drive us into town one evening so we could get to our dinner reservations on time. As we were running late, we GREATLY appreciated it. We spent our days basking in the sun, laying by the local pool or simply sipping our morning coffee on the deck watching the world go by...well worth it if you enjoy people watching... Probably our greatest enjoyment was to be able to set our own pace. There is something for everyone in this wonderful little town and this location is by far one of the best. When we left, we can assure you it was with a heavy heart, as we really unwound, which is what vacation is all about.
