Amazing House in Silverthorne

Amazing place for our ski retreat. The house was simply phenomenal and had all the amenities we could ask for. We had 21 people in our group and there was more than enough room. It seemed like we were finding new things about the house everyday. It was a very quick drive to Dillon and then a not too long drive to Keystone from our place. I would highly recommend this place for anyone.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house was everything we could have asked for and more. Plenty of room for our large family from ages 2- 30 without feeling like we were stepping on top of each other. I don't think we could have picked a better house or location than this one. The skiing at Loveland was excellent, shopping at the outlet mall just down the street was great. The views at night were breathtaking!!! I would love to stay here again and would recommend this house to anyone looking for a home with some space!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We decided to get my wife's together from all over the United States and settled on the Denver Area. The Silverthorne house was incredible!! We had 22 people staying all week and had plenty of room to do as we wanted to do. Plenty of bedrooms and Living Areas. The hot tub and sauna were used by the kids every day and we used the grill many nights. The house was clean when we arrived and had all of the entertainment you could imagine. Throughout the week we went white water rafting, zip lining, golfing and shopping in Breckenridge and even took a 7 mile hike within the area near the house. We would definitely come back and would bring lots of family or friends!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This beautiful mountain home was just right for our group of 14 - plenty of bathrooms and comfy beds for all. The main kitchen was stellar, all the equipment you could want and satelite kitchens put to good use also. The great rooms and game room provided space for all interests - kids enjoyed the WII and games; we all enjoyed the pool table, fooshball and evening card games, or the various TVs during down times. The mud room may have been meants for ski equipment, but served the summer golfers well. Housekeeping was supperlative, and Nigel a helpful host - all questions answered. It was obvious he wanted us to enjoy our stay. We certainly recommend this beautiful and spacious Royal Buffalo Drivehome and views from the wrap around decks for all large gatherings and reunions in beautiful Summit County.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

My extended family and I stayed this last week. We were 11 adults and 18 children (several babies) and found the home plenty spacious and accommodating. We really only had two issues, one of which had nothing to do with the home. The power went out one afternoon for about 1.5 hours, but it was a system issue, as most of the neighborhood was without power during that time. The second was that the Wii console would not power up. I left a message with Nigel who corresponded rapidly and suggested what we could do to remedy the situation. It worked! and all was well. We had plenty of room (did I mention that), enjoyed the breathtaking views, the porch (although the we wouldn't let the children on the deck without supervision since the slats on the fence are wide enough for a child to fall through), the grill, the hot tub and sauna, and the fun room. The kitchens were ample, well equipped and allowed for easy and quick meal preparation. We had a blast and are already talking about returning to this property in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

And what a great time we had! This was our second trip to this fantastic house in Silverthorne. We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we decided to book this rental again for another family reunion of 18 that was gathered this time to celebrate our son’s wedding on July 5. And again, many thanks to Misty and to Nigel Alexander who were just super in accommodating our stay for this event. The owners are the best to work with. Responses to questions or concerns were always very prompt. The location of the house was close for the wedding day activities at the Silverthorne Pavilion a very nice venue for our 65 guests. Prior to the wedding, we had approximately 30 people at the house for the bridal shower and rehearsal dinners, but no problem, as the house had lots of room for their entertainment. For the gun enthusiast, I can recommend an outdoor shooting range just 10 miles away at the Dillon waste management dump site. We did some target shooting there as part of the early bachelor day activities. Although we were disappointed that the planned July 4th community fireworks had to be cancelled due to the high risk of fire, we still enjoyed the view from the large deck. We also watched movies and enjoyed playing games, including WII, pool, foosball and cards. The hot tub was used almost every day and we used the Bar-B-Q several times. We will certainly consider this house rental again when we return to visit our son and new daughter-in-law now living in Denver.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, pet owners, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had 20 adults & a 5 mo. old infant, & there was plenty of room for all of us. All the space & amenities were used & gratefully appreciated, & exceeded the listing photos. The lodge is so large we had been there 2 days before we located the 8th bedroom! A very few things would have enhanced our stay: directions on how to operate the dishwasher in the main kitchen; one safety bar on each of the showers; the name & phone number in the otherwise very helpful notebook for the "site manager" were marked out & no new number was added for someone to clean the hot tub. Fortunately, one of my families had their own hot tub & knew how to clean the water, etc. We stayed for 9 days, so washer & dryer were much in use, as were both kitchens, the wonderful grill on the balcony, & all three generous living spaces. There was a pair of resident foxes (the largest any of us had ever seen) that provided us with a lot of entertainment, & that clearly expected us to feed them. (Our family being very familiar with animals, they didn't get anything from any of us!) Many thanks to you, Misty, & especially Nigel Alexander & Dominikia "the housekeeper", for a truly special family reunion. This facility far exceeded the lodge we had rented 3 different times in Breezy Point, Minn. for similiar family reunions. I hope we can return for another reunion - we generally plan one every 2 or 3 years.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We had a large group of 23 people staying at the condo. It worked great with some watching movies in one living room, games in another, and still more resting in another. It was a great mix of private bedrooms with beds and others as bunk rooms. We cooked several times and having two kitchens was a big help and lots of room for everyone to eat. There is also a nice grill that came in handy. There were a ton of TV's and all were nice with plenty of movies to watch or channels to flip through. All the appliances were new and the washer and dryer came in handy. In all, we enjoyed our stay and the owners were great to work with. We plan to come back again next winter.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We had 4 Colorado based families that stayed here with 8 adults and 9 kids. We also have friends that own houses close by, and they too came over for dinner at night. The house was full of fun as we watched movies, played games and cooked up a storm. The hot tub and game room were perfect for all the kids. We enjoyed this great mountain house, and highly recommend it for a multifamily vacation. Silverthorne location was perfect for us, with a short drive to all our favorite mountain skiing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
