  We took a leap of faith and were very pleased with our Snowbird vacation. The 2BR unit at Cliff Lodge had all the conveniences to make our family vacation relaxing and convenient. The Kids Programs (Ski school and Camp) are well run and very fun. All staff - from the hotel to the hill - were very friendly. We did experience a coupledifferent maintenance issues during our stay but engineering resolved them very quickly...no waiting around for an hour or more like at some hotels! Also, housekeeping was very accomodating when we needed extra kitchen amenities (pans etc). The only negative I can think of is the lack of things to do other than ski...but we were there to ski so it's not really a negative to us! Thank you.

  The only reason why I didn't give this an 'excellent' rating is because my husband and I both found the rooms very cold. Now, we both realize it IS the winter. ;o) However, even putting the thermostats at 90 while we were there did not make the place warm. I always had to layer the clothes and I don't like to do that when I'm relaxing after a full day of touring. Overall, this place is wonderful!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

  Overall, a great family experience. Cliff Lodge is so convenient for the hill and the ski school. All the necessary amenities for a fun family vacation-game room, pool, hot tub. Good restaurants. Our unit was just what we needed to be comfortable. Deb was very easy to deal with, helpful and honest. Thanks for everything!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Snowbird. The Cliff Lodge is a warm family-oriented resort with plenty of high-end amenities. The transaction with Dean could not have been easier, and doing busines with him was a pleasure. He emailed suggestions regarding lift tickets, activity hi-lites, and groceries. We aslo pre-ordered from Albertson's, and will certainly do this in the future. Condo units are huge! Thanks for a memorable vacation!!

  The Cliffs lodge condo was excellent, the spa on the top floor great, the food at the restaurants on site are good. The condo has a great location, easy to store skis in the lockers, and buy lift tickets onsite, along with Cliff's sports for last minute accessories. You will enjoy the condo, and Dean had everything arranged for our arrival, just as he said. The checkin was a breeze. One thing I did that was great was order groceries online from Albertsons two days in advance of my arrival. I had the groceries delivered on my arrival date and the bellman put them in the room. The condo has a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. We ate breakfast every morning in the condo, which saved lots of time and money. Had lots of chips and dips, cookies, and drinks for the kids after they got off the slopes.

  Owner response: I also like renting from VRBO owners because of the friendly services that they provide that you don’t get from institutions. We have rented from other owners for two recent vacations and now always check VRBO first for accommodations when we travel. - Added 11/13/10 Nobody delivers groceries to Snowbird anymore, but Smith's Grocery has a program where you can order your food in advance and pick it up on your way.   Dealing with Dean was a pleasure. Easy and true to his word. All was as promised and I hope to rent the unit again from him in the future. No reason not to deal with Dean for any other rental he may have (other than the week I want)...Thanks Again

  The condo is very comfortable, up-to-date, and well-equipped, and has a good view of the slopes. Access to the ski areas is good and the locker rooms are very conveniently located and well appointed. The lodge itself is very nice, with several restaurants, shops, and a convenience store inside the building. The Snowbird Center, where the tram is located, is a 3 or 4-minute walk from the lodge. It has several more restaurants, shops, and a small grocery store. We visited the spa on top of the lodge several times. It has a huge outdoor hot tub and heated pool with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Access to the pool, hot tub, locker rooms and shower facilities are all included with the rental. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information about the resort, transportation, recommendations for shopping, etc. Considering ski access, facilities, all of the conveniences and amenities, this was an outstanding value. We will stay at the same place if possible next time we go to Snowbird.

  In dealing with the VRBO individuals, I found their service and commitment to quality exceptional. The feedback I received prior to booking was on target, and we had a great time at the facility. Great Rental.

  The condo at Snowbird was great. We had a fantastic time. The Spa on the top floor was very relaxing. Dealing Dean Compher was easy and informitive. He assisted me at ever turn and provide any & all info about the condo and the services in the area.
