Stay right in Solitude Village and leave your car parked for your entire vacation. Watch skiers from your balcony, listen to the peaceful mountain surroundings, and when you're ready stroll the village and hit the slopes. Solitude Resort gives you that cozy ski village experience winter enthusiasts long for.
As an owner-managed rental we take great pride in our condo and your stay. You are our ONLY customer and you'll feel the difference. Your satisfaction equals our satisfaction. We enjoy sharing our corner of the mountain with our guests.
Our condo has two king sized beds, each fitted with a foam mattress topper for added comfort. We also have two sleeper sofas for the kids (or any body else that's tagging along for the fun). The kitchen is full size and fully stocked with all the cooking equipment you’ll need. We've installed a flat panel TV in each bedroom and a 50" 4K TV in the living room over the fireplace. We provide you with a collection of Blu-ray DVDs and board games to keep you entertained on the frosty evenings. Our soft leather couch, bench seating at the dining room table, and warm extra blankets keep everyone happy sharing this space with friends and family.
We’ve outfitted this condo for the winter sports enthusiast. You get two large ski lockers on the main floor of the lodge to stow all your heavy gear. In the condo we have a brand new wall mounted Rocker Ski Rack designed to hold your rocker skis and preserve their important parabolic shape. We’ve put up more hooks to hang your wet stuff than any other unit. You’ll find an electric boot dryer and glove warmer, and our personal favorite is to just throw it all in the dryer and warm it up while you eat lunch.
This condo also has a lock out feature which means that the condo can be divided into two completely separate living quarters by closing and locking a set of double doors. Section "A" keeps the living room and large kitchen, while section "B" still has it's own small dining table, mini fridge & kitchenette. Both sides are accessible with their own private entrance. Or, leave the double doors wide open and enjoy one large multi-bedroom condo suite.

About CJ Wilkinson
Our family of six loves living in Utah and enjoying the beautiful outdoor landscapes. We've lived next to the cottonwood canyons our whole lives. The Wasatch Mountains are special to us, and we know they'll be special to you and your family when you come to visit.
CJ Wilkinson purchased this Condo in 2016
Why CJ Wilkinson chose Solitude
Solitude has always been our favorite place to ski. As our two oldest boys got big enough to finally hit the slopes we found ourselves driving up the canyon often to spend Saturdays at Brighton & Solitude. We could only drive past these village ski condos so many times before we considered buying one. We made the leap and haven't regretted a day since.
What makes this Condo unique
Staying right in the village gives us a perfect blend of high mountain wilderness coupled with resort pleasures. Our kids enjoy the pool, water-slide, hot tub and other fun activities that Solitude Resort hosts. We also like to get our feet dirty and hit the hiking trails, chase a squirrel, or come across a bull moose on a casual stroll through the village.

Beautiful and Peaceful
We really enjoyed our stay. It was off season and we only ever saw a couple other people around. There were two large comfortable bedrooms/beds. It had a nice gathering space and well supplied kitchen. Clean and comfortable. CJ made himself very available and okayed a late check out without an extra charge. Worked well for our needs.
Clean, spacious, welcoming retreat
A group of friends and I stayed at CJ's place for just one night, to have a quick friends getaway to the mountains. The condo is spacious, very comfortable, and it was extremely clean. We used the hot tub and enjoyed the stocked kitchen for preparing dinner. I still can't believe how affordable this place was in comparison to everything else at Solitude and the surrounding area. CJ was a communicative host, and I would definitely stay here again!
Shhh don't tell anyone ... this place is great.
I hesitate to write this review, as we’re locals and Solitude is our best little secret and I know you if you stay at this place, you’ll never want to leave. We rented out this condo with our out-of-town family and it was such a fantastic getaway. The condo was clean, cozy, and bigger than I expected – fitting six of us and visitors comfortably. We walked into a cute welcome basket and a full kitchen that had all the “extras” (oil, salt and pepper, spices) that one might need! The fire was wonderful to sit by, the porch great to watch the sunset over the slopes, and the hot tubs and pool were perfect to relax in. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation or staycation!
Very nice spot. Owner highly responsive.
We ski at Brighton but restaurants and retail and underground parking make this a good choice.
Great place for family skiing
We had wonderful time. Condo is very conveniently located, equipped with everything we could think of, clean, and spacious. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you, CJ, we hope to be back!
Perfect for our family of 6
Plenty of space for our family size. A view of some of the slopes. The door between the two halves can be closed to create two distinct units. Nice welcome basket left for us. Hot tub just one floor below was rarely crowded. We watched a few of the many movies they had available. It's a short walk to two of the blue/black lifts or you can take a shuttle/drive over to the other lifts. Either way you can ski back to the village regardless of ability.
We would definitely recommend. Thanks CJ!
When you arrive at Solitude you'll see a list of activities posted on bulletin boards and in the elevator. Solitude schedules events like star gazing, magic shows, campfires, etc. that are free for guests. Activities are scheduled during the winter and summer seasons.
