About the property

Stay right in Solitude Village and leave your car parked for your entire vacation. Watch skiers from your balcony, listen to the peaceful mountain surroundings, and when you're ready stroll the village and hit the slopes. Solitude Resort gives you that cozy ski village experience winter enthusiasts long for.

As an owner-managed rental we take great pride in our condo and your stay. You are our ONLY customer and you'll feel the difference. Your satisfaction equals our satisfaction. We enjoy sharing our corner of the mountain with our guests.

Our condo has two king sized beds, each fitted with a foam mattress topper for added comfort. We also have two sleeper sofas for the kids (or any body else that's tagging along for the fun). The kitchen is full size and fully stocked with all the cooking equipment you’ll need. We've installed a flat panel TV in each bedroom and a 50" 4K TV in the living room over the fireplace. We provide you with a collection of Blu-ray DVDs and board games to keep you entertained on the frosty evenings. Our soft leather couch, bench seating at the dining room table, and warm extra blankets keep everyone happy sharing this space with friends and family.

We’ve outfitted this condo for the winter sports enthusiast. You get two large ski lockers on the main floor of the lodge to stow all your heavy gear. In the condo we have a brand new wall mounted Rocker Ski Rack designed to hold your rocker skis and preserve their important parabolic shape. We’ve put up more hooks to hang your wet stuff than any other unit. You’ll find an electric boot dryer and glove warmer, and our personal favorite is to just throw it all in the dryer and warm it up while you eat lunch.

This condo also has a lock out feature which means that the condo can be divided into two completely separate living quarters by closing and locking a set of double doors. Section "A" keeps the living room and large kitchen, while section "B" still has it's own small dining table, mini fridge & kitchenette. Both sides are accessible with their own private entrance. Or, leave the double doors wide open and enjoy one large multi-bedroom condo suite.

As lifetime locals in nearby Salt Lake City reach out to us for tips and tricks on how to make your Utah stay spectacular. We'd love to give you the inside scoop on different resorts, restaurants, ski runs, etc. Any question you have, we can answer it.

We know you'll enjoy the value and the ambiance of the Timber Ridge Suite and we're ready to serve you.

About CJ Wilkinson

Our family of six loves living in Utah and enjoying the beautiful outdoor landscapes. We've lived next to the cottonwood canyons our whole lives. The Wasatch Mountains are special to us, and we know they'll be special to you and your family when you come to visit.

Why CJ Wilkinson chose Solitude

Solitude has always been our favorite place to ski. As our two oldest boys got big enough to finally hit the slopes we found ourselves driving up the canyon often to spend Saturdays at Brighton & Solitude. We could only drive past these village ski condos so many times before we considered buying one. We made the leap and haven't regretted a day since.

What makes this condo unique

Staying right in the village gives us a perfect blend of high mountain wilderness coupled with resort pleasures. Our kids enjoy the pool, water-slide, hot tub and other fun activities that Solitude Resort hosts. We also like to get our feet dirty and hit the hiking trails, chase a squirrel, or come across a bull moose on a casual stroll through the village.

Great experience!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was ideal for our family of four - two adults and two children - in terms of room Andre privacy with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. He also featured enhanced internet, Direct TV with movie channels, washer/dryer, boot and glove dryers and ski lockers on the lower level. Location is outstanding being in the middle of the village, walking distance to the slopes and just above the condo hot tub. You also have access to other Club Solitude amenities and activities such as s’mores on the weekend and snow shoeing. There are limited food options if you don’t drive but Silver Fork Restaurant will pick you up and take you back to the Village at no charge.

The owner C.J. was outstanding, providing plenty of advance info sincerely it was our first time in Solitude as well as checking in to ensure we had a great stay. And we did.

This is a hidden gem for skiing - minimal to no lift lines, no waiting for food or tables at mountain restaurants and just 45 minutes from the airport. Limited green runs but plenty of wide blue runs as well as more challenging ones with moguls.

We enjoyed the experience and would definitely return!

Super convenient location and relaxed environment

  • 5 of 5

We have visited many resorts in Utah and the Solitude/Brighton area has been the most unassuming and affordable. We loved the ski in/out accessibility of the condo to Solitude and the village. It was very easy to get to Brighton as well where there was more snow coverage (at this moment) and kids ski free. Both mountains were fun and uncrowded with friendly personnel.

The condo is perfectly appointed for cooking in and accommodating our 2 families. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. We enjoyed the underground parking and ease of jacuzzi access.

Salt Lake City, Utah

The condominium was just as described. It was an outstanding stay for my family.

  • 5 of 5

The condominium was absolutely wonderful and well stocked. There were outstanding movies and board games available to play. Unlike many condos at the same location it also included very high-quality dinnerware and utensils. CJ, the host went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect stay. On arrival there was a gift basket with our name on it and lots of fine treats for the kids. Additionally he reached out via the VRBO application several times to ensure our stay was going well and to ask if there was anything he could do to make it better. Everything was absolutely outstanding.
