Villa Acquabella invites you to experience the architectural beauty and comfort of this spacious luxury vacation villa. Our Villa adorns the shore of secluded and pristine Water Island, located just minutes from beautiful St Thomas and St John in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The panoramic and beautiful views of the St Thomas harbor and mountains, and west to the small cays and the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico are astounding especially at night when it all twinkles and glistens.
Water Island is a treasure yet to be discovered, complete with a gorgeous half moon shaped beach and bay known as Honeymoon Beach. The property is a two minute walk to Honeymoon beach or you may ride in the golf car provided. The beach hosts a mobile restaurant, Heidi’s Honeymoon Grill, and Joe’s Beach Bar. Lounge, sunbathe, snorkel, or kayak all day long on our two tandem Ocean Kayaks. You may also choose to enjoy some biking and hiking to the old fort, or around the 491.5 acre (199 Hectare) island. Easily accessible via ferry service from Crown Bay Marina, or private skipper and boat available for special trips to St Thomas or other islands. World class shopping is nearby on Main Street, the Waterfront, Havensight Shops, and Yacht Haven Grande Marina.
Villa Acquabella comprises over 6000 square foot (600 square meters) of open living space with expansive outdoor patios and galleries. The designer swimming pool expands the entire waterfront posterior of the house measuring approximately 75 feet (25 meters). For relaxing even more after a long day at the beach the six person hot spa is perfect. PLEASE NOTE: the owner makes every effort possible to have all systems operating normally, but due to the delicate nature of hot spa parts, and their uncertain availability in the islands, it can not be guaranteed.
To entertain you in the evenings, we have provided our guests with flat screen LCD TV’s in the great room and in the bedrooms with satellite programming as well as DVD players, and Ipod music sound system with many zoned speakers. WiFi internet is available throughout the property. The fitness/game room provides a Body Solid universal machine, dumbbells and bench, stepper, and elliptical machine; for fun and games try the billiards and darts, as well as the outdoor ping-pong table. Horseshoes and bocce court on grounds as well. There are many other table games available.
The great room contains a large modern kitchen with all stainless GE appliances, center cooking island and hood, with five counter height stools. In this open space you will find the main dining room on one side and the comfortable living room on the other side with two full sleeper divans and one single one. Al fresco cooking and dining is just outside in the covered lanai. An outdoor bar and stools, lounging sofas, and chaise lounges awaits you for outdoor entertaining.
Sleeping accommodations include a designer master bedroom with study on the second level: king luxury bed, single sleeper divan, desk, and amazing views. On the main level in the west wing, two guest rooms are en suite, with queen beds and great views; direct access to pool deck. Fourth bedroom is great for children with two trundle beds and bathroom adjacent.

We chose Water Island in The US Virgin Islands for its natural beauty, tranquility, and friendliness of the 80 or so residents. Also, because of the ease of travel in arriving and departing: St Thomas airport just minutes away from the house.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
We enjoy entertaining: cooking, grilling, coctails and wine. We mostly enjoy beautiful Honeymoon Beach: snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, cycling, and exercising. We also enjoy the massive swimming pool, playing horseshoes, and the billiards table.

We live in St. Petersburg, Florida when we are not travelling or resting up in Water Island. We have 3 grown children and one beautiful baby grand daughter (believe it or not!)
