  My family spent a week in Rome right before Easter and had the most amazing experience at this property! We were looking for the perfect apartment to share our week in Rome together. We felt that staying in a hotel would not be conducive to having the ultimate Rome and family experience. We fell in love with the apartment when we saw the pictures online and couldn't believe that it was even better in person. The apartment had the most stunning views including the Coliseum which was absolutely breathtaking. The apartment was perfect for our family which included adult brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. The inside of the apartment was very spacious and the outdoor deck was a superb amenity for us to have a glass of wine, talk about the day and share some meals. The owners Raffaela and Giovanni were most accommodating and gracious upon our arrival and during our stay. They left a detailed book of things to do in the area and included pertinent numbers and instructions. The only bad part was that we had to leave! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to experience Rome intimately. We felt that we were part of the beautiful city.

  Colosseo was a light and airy apartment which my family enjoyed for a week. We could see the Colosseum from the rooftop terrace and I was amazed at how much of it was still standing. Good foundations and good Roman cement was the Buffa family answer. A nice metaphore for our family stay. Colosseo allowed us to enjoy each others company and deepen our family foundations and bond together more firmly. Good Roman foundations and cement indeed.

  We were met at the Apartment by Raffaela and Giovanni, the owners. What a great way to start our stay in Rome! They were helpful explaining the apartments ammenities and helping us to plan our activities and places to shop for groceries, fresh bread and of course gelatto. After a 26 day cruise, this was a perfect way to end our vacation. Our party had a 92 year old, an 84 year old, an 82 year old, and an 80 year old. Thank goodness there was an elevator. This apartment was very convenient for us because of the the location. The older women could stay near the apartment and walk to many of the sites (including The Coleseum, Forum, St. Clemente Basilica (don't miss 2 older churches underneath the Basilica) and The Roman House under Saint Giovanni de Paolo (amazing), plus the resturants and Gelatto shops nearby. The younger members of our party were able to walk all over Rome from this location. We would gather together at night for a meal on the Terrace and catch up on our days activities. We felt very safe leaving the ladies on their own (Raffaela and Giovanni even left us a phone to use if we had any problems or concerns). We are looking forward to coming back. Rome has so much to see, and we would defiantely stay here again.

  From the warm welcome (which included assistance booking transport from the airport) to the absolutely impeccable location and furnishings, our stay was perfect. Raffaela and Giovanni are friendly, welcoming and truly invested in your comfort. And the apartment feels like home. It has everything you could want or need — washing machine, refrigerator, plenty of dishes and glasses, a TV with the option to watch shows in English (this was a hit with the kids), even a small grocery store 2 minutes down the street. But once you head up to the rooftop terrace to watch the sun set over the Colosseum, you'll know you're not at home. Still, it's the best feeling you could hope for — to feel at home and cared for in a foreign city.

  This amazing apartment, in a great Roman neighborhood, provided our large family a respit and home base, during our stay in Rome. The apartment was efficient, with gathering tables and seating in the dining area, outside terrazzo and on the rooftop. The view of the Coliseum from the rooftop was beyond compare. The metro is a five minute walk from the apartment, just across the street from the Coliseum. Restaurants and super markets were easy walks, within the neighborhood. The apartment owners were wonderful people. They left a folder of timely and useful information, including the name of a cab service that was always reliable. We had a beautiful experience and highly recommend this apartment.

  Our family experienced a wonderful reunion in Rome this Christmas thanks to this amazing and very comfortable apartment. We had plenty of room for eight people. The view was great, and the location quiet and very convenient with metro stop nearby, stores and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The owners were friendly and welcoming and even put up a Christmas tree for us. Everything was meticulously clean and the kitchen was well supplied. It made for a perfect trip!

  Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. It was perfect for the 10 of us as we explored Rome just outside our door! We loved the opportunity to cook and spend time together, while enjoying the incredible outdoor space! It was easy to get to all the sights, and wonderful to get to come home to such a lovely apartment. I'm so glad that there was an elevator for all of our luggage and my mother!

  My friends and I were looking for a central place to stay in Rome prior to attending a wedding in Sicily. Rather than stay in a hotel, we wanted to stay together so that people could come and go as they please while making it easy to coordinate various activities. This property was absolutely ideal for our needs. It is central to all the sites (we walked everywhere!). Every day we would do our sightseeing, and when we were winding down for the day, we would make our way back to the apartment, grab some wine/bread/cheese, and sit on the rooftop garden while watching the sunset and laugh about the day's events before we made our way back out for dinner. It's so nice to have an apartment with a kitchen and basic amenities so you can grab some groceries and avoid spending a fortune on simple things like bottled water like you would in a hotel. I don't know where else in Rome we could have gotten such a spectacular 360 degree view of the city. The owners were SO nice, and went out of their way to help us above and beyond just renting the apartment for a few days. I would recommend this to any group of friends, family, etc. If I ever go back to Rome with a group of people again, I will be checking to see if this property is available.

  Our group of nine from Oregon USA stayed in this beautiful penthouse for a full week during September 2009 and enjoyed it very much. The owners were very accommadating and ehjoyable to talk with. The location is great, the view from the penthouse was beautiful and the penthouse itself was wonderful. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit Rome.

  We had our family of 10 stay in Domus Colosseo and had a wonderful time. The apartment was really beautiful, spacious and perfectly located. Can’t wait to return!
