We are 20 minutes to New Haven where you can visit museums, great restaurants and Yale University. Take the train into New York City, it's one and a half hours away. Enjoy visiting Mystic Seaport and the beautiful town of Essex. Walk across the street to the beautiful Owenego Club and enjoy a late afternoon cocktail overlooking Long Island Sound. Also walk to Lennys our great casual seafood restaurant.

My wife and I spent 10 days in this charming New England Home. It was delightful, very comfortable, bright and immaculately clean. The owner Mary is a lovely person with a great personality. The town of Branford is fun, when we were there one evening there was a free jazz concert on the village green. Also there are great little shops and recommend the ice cream place Ashleys. The house is close to the shoreline and is well located for sightseeing in southern Connecticut. The local restaurant of Lenny's is not to be missed.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband and I recently stayed here and had a wonderful and relaxing time. Everything you need is right there, inside and outside of the home. The home itself is lovely, clean and very, very comfortable!! We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone who is considering!!

The house is exactly what we were looking for. It was charming, very comfortable, bright and was immaculately clean. It's in a quiet area and is a great place to decompress. Nice to have the beach right at the end of the street. Great central location too. Highly recommended!

Mary's home is adorable. Branford is a great location for a holiday rental. Downtown enjoys a village green fringed with many shops and restaurants. Driving distances to surrounding towns are fairly short. The location of the home is perfect with the shoreline just a moment away. The house is charming and most comfortable and reflects the lovely personality of the owner.

We spent three nights here in late October while visiting our daughter, who is a student at Yale. The house and location was great. We walked to the beach and through the surrounding neighborhoods every day. It was also an easy drive (10 minutes) over to New Haven to see our daughter. This is a great alternative to staying in the overpriced hotels near the Yale campus. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this house at the end of May 2008, and enjoyed our trip tremendously! The owner is very nice and she was available if needed. Everything in the house worked well and the kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils, etc. The location is great - an easy walk to Lenny's and short walk or drive to the ocean wall and to see amazing homes along the ocean! We highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful!!! We rented this house last summer for a week and absolutely loved it. It was myself, my wife and our 4 year old daughter and it was plenty spacious. The highlight was walking every morning and evening on the sea wall path. I have to say we have traveled to many places and this was the most relaxing vacation. Be sure to check out the local restaurants, especially Lenny's and Pasta Cozi's.The owner is one of the nicest people we have ever met. Highly recommend it!!!
