Formosa Springs Vacation Home - 2 Awesome Pools & Spa
Formosa Springs home is a vacation in itself. This beautiful vacation home features 2 large heated pools. The first pool is a huge south and west facing 45 X 20 foot private heated pool with 2 sprayers and adjoining 8 foot circular spa. The second pool for the children is a custom Mickey Mouse pool, 14 feet across and 12 inches deep with a fan sprayer and 3 bubbling gushers. You won’t find another vacation home with a pool as large as this just for children. You would have to stay at a resort to find anything comparable and resort pools are shared by everyone.
The main pool depth ranges from 3 to 8 feet. Both pools and the spa have multi colored fibre optic lighting. There is a 26 X 8 foot Lanai (covered patio area).
We travel with our family and most of our guests do too. Our home is equipped with your family in mind. If your family is happy then you are happy and can actually feel like you are on vacation.
Great Location: The Formosa Springs vacation home is located in Formosa Garden Estates, the closest vacation rental community to Walt Disney World, Orlando, less than 2 miles away.
Fenced Yard & Private Tot Lot: The Formosa Springs villa is situated on one of the largest lots in Formosa Gardens Estates, the only vacation rental community with large homes on estate sized lots, which gives your children plenty of room to enjoy the private Tot Lot with a Little Tikes play castle with slide, 3 Little Tikes play houses, and 2 Little Tikes climbers, and a Minnie Mouse hopscotch (on the pool deck). The entire back yard is fenced for your privacy. There is also a gas barbeque and a spare tank of gas.
3600 Square Foot Pool Deck: This home boasts one of the largest screened pool deck areas of any vacation home in the Orlando area. This provides plenty of room for everyone to recline around the pools and spa while enjoying the Florida sunshine. Lounge in resort style comfort and complete privacy. Our eight lounge chairs all have cushions and the entire pool area is screened in so you can enjoy the area right into the night with no bugs.
Entertainment Areas: The large family room is 20 X 17 feet, has a vaulted ceiling, leather furniture (2 sofas, 1 love seat, 1 chair), and a 50 inch Plasma TV, DVD player, Sony PlayStation 2 with games, and a stereo. There is a DVD video library consisting of children’s movies and popular movies for your enjoyment.
Whether you are finished park hopping for the day or just taking a day to relax with your family, you will enjoy the well equipped games room. For your entertainment, the games room comes complete with a full size slate pool table, 7 foot air hockey table, and foosball, or just relax on the sofa and watch TV.
Seven Bedrooms: All linens are provided.
Master # 1 - The main master suite has a king size four poster bed, toddler bed, a full sized wooden crib in its own little room, 42 inch Plasma TV and DVD player. French doors lead out to the pool. The private bathroom has two sinks, separate shower, garden tub, and separate toilet area.
Master # 2 - Live on the wild side in our tastefully decorated master Safari Suite. This room has a king size bed, 24 inch TV and DVD player, and private bathroom. This suite is located on the main floor at the front of the home.
Master # 3 - Our third master suite is a vintage themed Mickey and Minnie Mouse suite with king size canopy bed. The private bathroom is also Mickey Mouse themed. You are never too old to enjoy the Mouse. There is a 32 inch flat screen TV and DVD player.
King Poolside - The fourth bedroom has a king size bed. This room is adjacent to the pool bathroom and has French doors leading to the pool. There is a 32 inch flat screen TV and a DVD player.
Mickey & Minnie - Children can continue their Disney adventure in a Mickey & Minnie themed bedroom on the main floor which includes 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds (great for a whole family), TV and DVD player. Cuddle up with a child sized (4 foot) plush Mickey and Minnie.
Toy Story - Spend time with Buzz and Woody in this children’s bedroom. This Disney themed bedroom has 3 twin beds and lots of Toy Story 3 to make you smile. There is a 19 inch TV and DVD player and toys.
Princess - Treat the Princesses in your family royally with their own Princess themed bedroom with 2 princess carriage twin beds, a Princess toddler bed, and princess vanity. There is 20 inch flat screen TV and DVD player.
Children’s Items: All our vacation homes come complete with what you will need when travelling with children. We provide all children’s items free of charge. Our standard children’s items include; 5 strollers (1 double stroller, 1 sit & ride, and 3 single strollers), 3 high chairs, 2 booster seats, 3 Pack’n’Plays (playpens), 2 bedrails, 2 baby monitors, baby gate, plush toys, and books.
Sleeping Accommodations Summary: 4 King beds, 1 Queen bed, 7 Twin beds, 2 Toddler beds, 1 Full Size crib, and 3 Pack’n’Plays (portable playpens). This provides great flexibility and room for 17 guests without even using the Toddler beds or Crib. There is a bed for everyone unlike many 7 bedroom homes that require 2 people to use a sofa bed.
5 Full Bathrooms: Hand held shower sprayers on all showers and tub/shower combinations, bath towel, hand towels, pool towels, face cloths, and hair dryers in each bathroom.
Additional Amenities: This vacation home comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen even Disney dishes just for kids. In the kitchen you will find a full sized refrigerator/freezer (with ice-maker), electric stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is also an electric kettle, 2 coffee makers, 2 toasters, a crock pot (slow cooker), and a blender. You will find an ample supply of cutlery, dinnerware, serving dishes, pots and pans and utensils. There are plastic containers for packing snacks and insulated coolers if you pack a lunch.
For your children’s safety and to comply with Florida law, there are alarms on all doors and windows that lead to the pool and spa area.
Other vacation home amenities include Cable TV, high speed wireless internet, free long distance phone calls in Continental United States, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Alaska, and North Marian Islands, washer and dryer, and all bedroom and bathroom linens. This vacation home is fully air conditioned and heated.

Joanie, Just sitting out by the pool relaxing on this LAST morning...whew, it's been a FAST week...ha... Anyway, watching some squirrels on the top of the screen over the pool, and one was digging at something caught in the screen,,,some bug..well, he got the bug, but also left a hole in the screen..goodness....I thought you ought to know. Then, looked west and saw several hot air balloons a-floating across the sky...aaaaahhh,,, nice warm view....had my coffee with me. This is a large home with a great pool close to all Orlando fun however, the home iteself has not received the attention it needs to be listed as a luxury home near Kissimmee. There were many items that should have been handled before our visit and were not taken care of. Even after an email and phone call during our vacation, we still did not receive any resolution. An apologetic email but no one came out to handle the many items (broken shower head, bed in need of repair, one dryer completely broken, etc.). We LOVED this vacation home and especially liked the kiddie pool. It had everything we needed. I would reccomend this home to friends and family. It is very close to Disney.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

This home is in an awesome location - just minutes to all the disney parks and a great home for large groups - we had 14 of us! The home had a wonderful pool area great for relaxing and chilling out after a long day at the parks! However, this home also needs some tender loving care and some maintance that is does not seem to be getting. There was numerous issues - dirty flooring, broken windown blinds, shower heads not working, kitchen items not clean, noisy laundry equipment, lack of care for pool to name a few. Our family all agreed this would be an absolutly awesome home if the owners put a little more care into it!Recommended for: Families with young children.
Owner response: Unfortunately this guest did not inform us of any issues during their 2 week stay.They waited until they returned home to send us a list of concerns most of which could have been fixed quickly. We ask all of our renters to check the home upon arrival, and let us or our Property Management company know. This allows us to repair any items at the beginning of their stay so that it does not affect their Holiday. The homes have over 1000 items that could break at any time and we fix them as soon as we know. We Vacation at our Homes ourselves and we expect the homes to be in good repair for ourselves and our guests.

We got back around noon today from our wonderful 3 day weekend at the Formosa home. I just wanted to pass along the rave reviews we all had about the house. Beautifully decorated, great amenities, easy to find, close to everything, fit several families in one house, wonderful pool area... and much more! Thank you for renting the house to us for the weekend. We're thinking of making this a family tradition since it had everything we needed! Thanks again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

recently spent a week at this villa and I have to admit that it was one of the most relaxing vacations to Disney that we have ever had! What a difference it makes coming home to a relaxing private pool, hot tub, and not living out of a suitcase like you do in a motel. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and would gladly stay agian. Only a few minutes from disney and so much more relaxing than a hotel!!Did you find this review helpful?
