Spoiled Rotten – 375 Defuniak Street – Grayton Beach, FL
Located in the heart of Old Grayton Beach, pet-friendly (fee applies) Spoiled Rotten is just a short walk from many funky and eclectic shops and restaurants, our pristine white-sand beaches and the emerald green Gulf of Mexico. This nostalgic beach home offers the perfect accommodations for a multi-family vacation with 8 bedrooms and 8 baths, sleeping up to 17 people. The property includes the main house, guest house with two separate apartments and a private pool (may be heated to 86 degrees for additional fee of $30 per day plus tax). Nearby is Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake that offers fishing, boating and swimming in calmer waters near the outflow into the gulf.
Entry is through a peaceful screened porch with an outdoor dining table and outdoor benches. Once inside, you find cool tile floors, ceiling fans and brightly painted walls. The family room is outfitted with a large L-shaped sectional sofa, side chair, coffee table, side table with lamp, armoire with 30” TV and DVD/VCR. The dining table has 8 chairs but two more can be brought in. High speed wireless internet. Galley style kitchen features Formica counter tops, side-by-side frig with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, electric range and pass through window to the family room. The stackable super capacity washer/dryer is in the kitchen.
Each of the four bedrooms on the ground floor are tiled and have ceiling fans. Bunk room has two twins, TV, 2 side tables with drawers and a small private bathroom with shower. Queen bedroom off the living area has chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, TV and DVD, plus a door to the adjacent hall bath. Hall bath has a huge tiled shower. The first of two King bedrooms on the ground floor has a side chair, bedside table with lamp, armoire with TV and DVD, and a private bath with tiled shower. Larger second King bedroom has 2 bedside tables with 2 lamps, side chair, chest of drawers, TV and DVD and a private bath with tiled shower. Small pool-side bar kitchen features a sink and a table and chairs that can serve as additional dining space for the kids.
The second floor of the main house has wood floors and ceiling fans throughout. Common areas include a kitchen with mini frig and sink and a TV room for the kids which features a 42” LCD TV, DVD/VCR, stereo, love seat with twin sleeper and 2 side chairs. Queen bedroom has 2 bedside tables, one lamp and armoire with TV and DVD. Hall bath has pedestal sink and shower. King bedroom has 2 bedside tables with lamps, armoire with TV and DVD, and a private bath with double tiled shower, and pedestal sinks.
Overlooking the pool, you will find the guest house which features two completely separate, yet identical apartments, one on the ground floor, one on the second floor. Each private unit has a separate entrance, king bed, 2 bedside tables with 2 lamps, café table with 2 chairs, TV/VCR, bathroom (one with shower, one with tub/shower) and a full kitchen equipped with mini frig, microwave, electric range, dishwasher and double sink.
The private pool, which may be heated to 86 degrees for additional $30 per day plus tax, is situated between the house and guest house and is surrounded by attractive brick pavers. The spa extension is jetted (spa and pool can be heated to a maximum temperature of 86° in cold weather seasons for an additional $30 per day plus tax). Other amenities pool-side include a table with 5 chairs, umbrella, bar with 3 tall bar stools, ample loungers and a gas BBQ grill.
Events, such as weddings, are allowed at the home for an additional fee. Pets are allowed for an additional $250 plus tax.

We visited your home for a law office management retreat. Great place! The facility was comfortable, accessable and full of amenities. We enjoyed our meeting, and the comforts of your home assisted us in addressing and resolving many issues. As an owner of condo units for rent also in the Panhandle (Carrabelle & Apalach), I was impressed with this facility. The amenities and services were great, and the book with restaurants and other watering holes was most informative. Great decorations, and I will return. Thank you!

We had an absolutely grand time! The house was spacious. Pool was great. We loved everything about the house. We came for my fiance's birthday and can't wait for a reason to return. Grayton Beach was beautiful. The Red Bar was awesome (try the crab cakes - best anywhere - and the guava mojito...delicious!). For watersport rentals (skis & pontoons) call Xtreme H20. They gae us a fabulous deal. Thanks for everything!

Scarborough brother-sister annual get-together, usually a mountain trip. Everyone loved the change. Really loved Spoiled Rotten. Slow paced life-places close by to see. Food places are really great. Love this relaxing pace.

Our families had a fantastic time at Spoiled Rotten. The kids loved packing up the best because they were the least supervised! Thank you for sharing your home with us. It was a great house and added great memories to our book of life!
