Perfect place to stay in Wallace or surrounding areas

The description and photos are very accurrate. The house was amazing; it is an older house that is in incredible condition. It is extremely clean and well maintained. I contacted Tana Seeley about staying at this house with 6, 11 girl old girls and 4 mom's; it was a girl scout troop trip. She was amazingly helpful, had no concerns about kids staying here and said it would be perfect for our trip. If I could think of a stronger word than perfect, I would use it. It filled all our needs and more; the girl's were able to all stay in one room together, leaving 4 mom's to stay in the 3 remaining rooms - 2 adults each got their own rooms. There was plenty of comfortable beds and bedding for everyone more than enough towels. Then a fully stocked and very clean kitchen; no need to go out to eat for every meal - a wonderful savings. Plus it provided our own place to come back to after a long day of siteseeing and biking. It was so nice to have a place that no one had to worry about disturbing other guest - such as in a hotel. Our only concern was how would a water heater hold up in an old house to 10 showers? Amazing. We could do 6 decent showers in a 2 hour period before running out of hot water; I know new houses that can't do that. The only thing that I can think of to suggest and not even complain about, we have no complaints about the house, is, maybe a fan in every bedroom. Being that it is an older house and hard to get all the windows open, it got stuffy - but never uncomfortable - at times. As to nearby attractions, we didn't even scratch the surface; we did the Hiawatha Bike Trail, the Gold Mine in Kellogg, the Silver Mine in Wallace, the Bordello Musuem (2 adults only, no girl scouts went on this trip), the Garnet Digging south of St. Marie's. A mother and father of one of the girl scout's biked the Coeur D Alene trail and said it was wonderful. It looked like there was a ton of other things to do - I know I saw ATV's by the dozen and trails all over. The house is within walking distance of most everything in Wallace; the cemetary and Silver Mine are a short drive. It only took us 15 - 20 minutes to get to the Hiawatha Trail trailhead.
Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.
