Wonderful little oasis in the mountains

Cozy cabin. Everything we needed was there. Including peace and quiet! Our little dog enjoyed running throigh the leaves trying to catch chipmunks! We enjoyed our hikes in both state parks. Overall, an enjoyable stay!

Perfect Haven

We love this little cabin secluded in the woods. It is just what we need for a quick break from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for opening up this beautiful piece of serenity for others to enjoy! Our 2nd stay was just as perfect as the first and we will definitely be back!

Exactly as Advertised!

We were looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy the fall foliage…and that is exactly what we got! The cabin was cute and comfy, perfectly stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our time there. I could have spent my whole vacation in the hammock enjoying the sounds of birds and the babbling brook! The location was perfect, nestled in private woods just minutes away from great hiking trails. Evenings were spent by the fire pit outside or inside curled up in front of the fire. It was the perfect place to unplug and unwind. We certainly hope to return soon!!

Dan & I have always loved the outdoors, especially the forests. So, when he found this property, it was like it was destined for us to live here. & here we are, 15 years later, still enjoying our little piece of Heaven. Lots of upkeep & work I grant you; but well worth all of our efforts!!

When we purchased the property, there was this little weekend cabin placed on the second parcel. Dan & I lived there while building our home for when he decides to retire. If ever!

Why they chose this property

Some years ago, we decided to share the cabin & the quiet & solitude that we enjoy so much. Plenty of wildlife & birds to observe. The sounds of the creek alone are enough to make the tension disappear. It's just a peaceful place to kick back & enjoy yourself or a good book or reconnect with family or each other. In this hectic life we live, nowadays, it's nice to know there is a quiet little place to escape to Revuenate, relax or take a much needed walk in the woods.
