Fairfield Glade is the perfect spot for a perfect getaway.
With eight championship golf courses within half an hour's drive from the condo, this is definitely a golfer's paradise. But if golf isn't your thing, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, or any of a host of different activities are available to you in this area. You're sure to find plenty of options for having a fun-filled and relaxing vacation.
This condo in Farifield Glade is secluded, but near enough to all that the area has to offer that you will never feel isolated. You can access many activities in the Glade via the walking trail that starts right outside our door. Restaurants, shopping, movies, fishing, theater, and many other activities are all nearby and many are walking distance from the condo.
One of the most distinct advantages our condo has over other places you might stay in Fairfield Glade if the fact taht we own two condos side by side. VRBO #313362 is right next door to this one and they share the same covered carport. If you have a large group that wants to stay near one another, this is the perfect solution. Between the two condos, you can easily sleep 10 people. We offer discounted rates on the rental of both units and would be happy to talk to you about this solution to your travel needs.

Why the Owner Chose Fairfield Glade
We originally bought this unit because my father needed a place to stay while he was working over here. When that contract ended, we decided to keep the condo and use it as rental property.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
If you are a golfer, then this is a paradise. I am not a golfer, but I love to be outside. There are several small lakes here in Fairfield Glade (all stocked) that are easily accessible and fun to fish. The marinas have boats for hourly or daily rental or you can bring your own. There are about twenty miles of nice single and double track mountain bike trails just twenty minutes or so from here. The state parks have miles and miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing available. The Obed River runs right through Crossville and is a great river to explore and fish. (I've just recently taken up fly fishing.) Our condo serves as a perfect "base camp" for all these activities. At night the town closes up pretty early and, at its busiest, it's not very bustling. You can, however, get a good meal at any number of local and chain restaurants, take in a movie, stop at a local bar for a drink, or go shopping. My favorite restaurants up here are Halcyon Days (in Stonehaus Winery) and Genesis Italian Grill. Both serve wonderful food and have excellent service. There are also bowling lanes, minature golf, and arcades in town. The recreation center here in Fairfield Glade is open to guests and has a host of activities and options in case you're here and a rainy day spoils your plans. Two of the area lakes have nice beaches, playgrounds, and swimming areas. Outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and tennis courts are available as is a full workout facility. These activities all have nominal fees that both members and guests (you are considered a guest if you're staying here)pay. They range from about $1.25 a day to about $8.00 a day for the workout facility.

This is a picture of my mom, Theresa Osteen, who handles the Fairfield Glade property. She is an avid gardener, animal lover, and proud grandmother of 6--soon to be 7! She lives with my dad, three cats and one dog in Maryville, TN, about an hour and a half from Crossville. Her years of experience in customer service and positive way with people make her a natural in the renting world. She graciously volunteered to help out with our busy VRBO rental when my wife and I found out we were expecting our first baby, and treats our renters with a big dose of courtesy and kindness. She's also responsible for the decor in our rental--a multi-talented woman!

My wife and I rented the Condo for the Thanksgiving Holiday. It provided a great place for us to entertain our two grown children and their spouses, AND a new Grandson. The location is convenient for shopping and "last minute" dinner party necessities. The Condo, itself, is very comfortable. The furnishings were very nice and provided an elegant homey feel. Our Son referred to it as the best hotel he had ever stayed in. We will certainly recommend it to our friends, as the value was a definite PLUS!!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the back deck watching the chipmunks play in the leaves was so very relaxing. The condo was very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay. Our husbands were close to the golf courses and we were close to areas where we could shop. We especially enjoyed the Rusty Rooster!! We would recommend the condo to our friends and would stay there again.

Throughly enjoyed our week at the condo. It was just like being at home! The condo looked just like it did on the website. We had everything we needed and it was in such a good location and was very well kept up. Sure hope we can come back next year! Theresa was so nice to us and so helpful with our rental and gave us alot of info about the area. Sorry we didn't get to meet her this trip. She even called during the week to check on us. Really enjoyed our renters beside us too. We'd highly recommend this condo to everyone. You couldn't have asked for a better place.

The bathrooms are extremely small and beds too soft for our taste, but Theresa was very friendly and even supplied a card for member savings at the local Food City which really came in handy. We enjoyed being able to have our pet with us, the internet being provided, and the laundry facilities.

We stayed at the condo to be reasonably close to our son/family that moved to Crossville June 2010. The location was close to many attractions, wish we could have spent more time sightseeing. Met Theresa AND the renters at the condo next door, had fun comparing info on what to see in the area. The condo had everything we needed, enjoyed the deck & lakeview. Great walking areas everywhere & restaurants. We left a few more brochures behind, as others had, so you can plan the areas you want to visit. We are not golfers, but MANY courses nearby, as well as water sports. We would stay again, IF we do not bring our RV next time ! Many THANKS, Theresa. Will keep in touch.

Our visit to this property was an enjoyable experience. The property was as described in the listing and the property was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the Fairfield Glade amenities including the pool and exercise facilities. The location was a good central location for exploring FFG and the Crossville area. There were several nice parks in the area that were fun to explore. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. I would recommend this property to others.

Nice and clean condo. Very satisfied with our stay. As golfers the location was ideal. Short drive to several beautiful golf courses. Theresa was absolutely wonderful in providing information and working with with us the entire time in setting up our trip.

The location of this condo is so convenient to all Fairfield Glade has to offer; golf, restaurants, grocery store, the community center. While there are beds for six people, I think you might be a bit crowded with six people in the unit. We enjoyed the DVD library as the weather was less than perfect for a couple days that we were there. The unit was clean and had all we needed (except a local telephone book). There was a lot of tourist information available on the shelf. Recommend for anyone who appreciates great golf.
