My family and I just returned from our vacation on St John's staying at Mimosa's. The view of Coral Bay was gorgeous and the time we spent at the house met all our needs. The owner must have solved the hot water problem because all three bathrooms had hot water for the duration of our visit. However, as they noted, there was no wifi but we came prepared with ethernet cables and the DSL worked fine for the limited time we needed it. The whole trip was a blast and we can't wait to do it again next year!

Amazing outdoor space and views, no wifi

We stayed at Mimosa Poolside villa for two weeks in the end of December 2011 into the new year. We couldn't have been happier with the outdoor space and views - both far exceeded our expectations. Every room, including the pool house bedroom, has a magnificent panoramic view of Coral Bay. We took a million photos, which don't quite capture the beauty of the view. The master bedroom was large and the king size bed was very comfortable. The shower in the main house had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Friends who stayed with us noted that the showers in the two other bathrooms did not have hot water, so they also showered in the main bathroom, which was slightly inconvenient, but not a big issue. The sitting room was small, but we didn't spend a lot of time indoors so this was not a big issue for us either. The laundry room was extremely helpful to us given our long visit. The biggest disappointment for me was that we could not get the wifi to work. If you have to stay connected to work while on vacation, as I and several others unfortunately had to, you may want to look at bringing your own solution. The road up the mountain to the villa is pretty rough and steep, so you definitely need an SUV. But it is really worth the bumpy climb, which we got used to pretty quickly. We would definitely consider Mimosa for future visits. The views, the pool, and the outdoor space were truly amazing. Thanks to Nancy for working with us on a very memorable vacation.

This was a great vacation! Nancy was great and easy to work with. It was apparent how much she loves her properties by the overall care that has obviously been put into it. The place was clean, relaxing, romantic, and a breath of fresh air. I couldn't have spent a better week with my girlfriend anywhere else. it was really a great experience and I can't wait to go back. I think this might even be my new favorite vacation spot. The views are unbelievable and you really have to go there to appreciate them.

Best Extended Vacation!

This rental was just as great as the owners other property, Honeymoon Hikers Inn, where we were originally. We wanted to extend our vacation by a few days and luckily Mimosa was available for a few nights. It was absolutely amazing and just as romantic as Honeymoon Hikers. And again, seeing a property owner care about the is a relief. Last time we booked a spot in St. John it turned out to be a roach infested mildew pit. This was a relief, so much we almost didn't want to leave to go explore. The location is really convenient though, its easy to go off an go hiking or swimming. Again, we have already booked this for next year's vacation. I highly recommend for just about anyone who wants a nice relaxing vacation in a beautiful place.

Little Plantation is Amazing!

I just got back from an 8 day stay at the Little Plantation and it was unbelievable. The place was in excellent condition, very spacious and had all of essentials to make for a wonderful trip. The views were breathtaking and we made full use of the kitchen, grill and outdoors seating and pool area. There were 7 of us on our trip and we were very comfortable. The best part is that this place has everything you need for a great day at the beach including coolers, beach chairs and ice packs. I would highly recommend this place to any group or couple!

Best trip ever Coral bay was a great place to hang out. Restaurants were great, good music. Mimosa's views were unreal from every part of the property ocean and island views. Nice breeze, very clean Villa, nicely managed. had everything we even got a pool and didn't worry about bathing suits see ya alls again soon!

Tortola View

Our family goes to Tortola every year, this year we went to St. John - Coral Bay area. We were lucky and saved money and got more this time. Great Villa & viewed Tortola everyday not bad! Between the Villa & privacy and all the beaches we chose in that area we were thrilled. Best place we had gone yet & great people. Highly recommend this.

Owner response:Hey Charlie! Tortola is great, you can walk anywhere and pick fruit from trees, they get more rain. Thanks for choosing the Villa, the " hump back whales " have there babies in Carib then migrate through "Dreakets Channel" a good time to whale watch. I was thinking of purchasing a "hydrophone" so guests could listen, otherwise if you dive at a certain location you can hear them underwater! Thanks, see you next year.

My wife and I were extremely pleased by this Villa. The views were spectacular even from the pool side. Landscaping very lush and well thought out. Interior of the Villa was spotless just like the woodwork. Access is private and easy. We highly recommend staying there. We are planning a trip next year again! Little Plantation Is A Slice Of Paradise!

We had a group of 7 of us stay at Little Plantation from March 26th through April 3rd, and we had a spectacular visit. The house is absolutely fantastic, more amenities than can possibly be used, with more than enough space to accomodate 8 adults. The views of Coral Bay are fantastic, and the outdoor living space on the decks and next to the pool are gorgeous. We are already planning our return visit for next year. We are extremely happy to have found such a lovely home to return to. Thank you so much!
