This beautiful, comfortable, spacious condo was perfect. It was so nice and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better view or a nicer place to stay. I would definitely come back.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with young children.

We were set to spend our vacation at the Summerhouse when my daughter developed complications with her pregnancy. The owners would not let us out of the rental so we continued with our plans. When we arrived at the condo we found it was very spacious and comfortable. However, it had not been cleaned from the previous guests and dirty towels were still piled in the floor. After getting in contact with the owners, I said that I would clean the condo (instead of waiting several hours for someone to get there to clean it) and the owners said they would re-fund the cleaning fee. Two phone calls after my vacation and several months later, the money was never refunded. While the resorts grounds were very nice and the condo itself was nice as well, we will not be returning to this property because we go on vacation to relax and not to clean up after strangers.
Owner response:I am sorry that the unit was not clean when you arrived. Our check-in time is 1:00 PM and I believe you arrived early. Our cancellation policy allows for you to cancel without penalty with 30 days notice or if I am able to rebook. I never received any of this information including any follow-up phone calls. I am not sure why this is being posted 14 months after the stay?? I wish you would have contacted me instead.

We have stayed at this condo many times over the years and we are spoiled! I lived in Florida for many years and this beach is far better! This is a great unit with great owners...we have 6 children and my husband and myself...we are completely comfortable!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, families with young children.

IF YOU WANT THAT BEST AT A LOW RATE THIS IS YOUR BABY USE TO GO TO MYRTLE BEACH NOT ANY MORE THIS PLACE CHANGE MY HOLE LOOK AT THE OCEAN AND THE SUMMER HOUSE IS THE BEST LOTS OF THINGS TO DO FOR THE KIDS AND NO NOISE .
