An inviting 390 sq. ft. room with a fireplace provides the ideal environment for corporate retreats, scrap booking events, sewing parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and parties.
Grounds: Guests at the Inn are welcome to explore the partially-wooded 3 + acres including a small stream, wooded nature paths, a relaxing hammock and 1/4 mile walking track. Relax in our beautiful natural setting or on the large wooden deck. You will never want to leave!

Why the Owner Chose Harrisburg
We shopped all over the country to find an Inn we liked. The first time we saw Canna Inn we were excited to find such a spacious and interesting building. It has wonderful common areas for families to relax and enjoy as well a rich history dating back to 1850. Until we moved here we didn't realize what a wonderful location it was, just a short drive from Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, and Gettysburg. Families can find lots to do or just hang and enjoy the Inn and each other.
The Unique Benefits at this Restored Barn
Being just 1 mile from the interstate yet country enough to here cows mooing in the morning we enjoy the best of both worlds. Cooking in one of the kitchens or playing pinball or pool in the bar, families enjoy the space. The Central Pa. area has so much to offer. We never run out of interesting things to do near by. Whether skiing in the winter or paint ball shooting at near by Ski Roundtop, antiquing at a flea market or maybe just relaxing in the hammock in the grove here at the Inn, you can't beat a vacation at Canna Country Inn.

After 35 years of marriage we wanted to venture out and work together again. We enjoy the beach a good flea market and our 3 grand kids. We really enjoy seeing the families excited about their time together at the Inn.

"the perfect place for our French reunion" We stayed 3 days and nights at the Inn and the 7 members of our group , all from France , driving rented Harley Davidson , have enjoyed to the highest the welcome of Daniel and Susan , the charm of their home and the so enjoyable amenities of the place . "Canna Inn became our "home away from home" as we hosted 125 guests on site for our daughter's wedding. The charm of the restored barn and beauty of its grounds provided the perfect canvas for a lovely outdoor event. By renting the inn for the entire weekend, we were about to accommodate the wedding party, extended family members and the bride and groom. The well equipped kitchen facilities allowed us to cater the wedding ourselves and stay well within our budget. Guests were absolutely taken by the setting and felt comfortable lingering well into the evening. The innkeepers, Susan and Daniel, maintain a well-manicured property and seem to take great pride in all that Canna has to offer. Prior to the wedding they were always a phone call or email away and were a tremendous resource as we planned all the details. Looking back, we would not change a thing about hosting this very special occasion at Canna Inn. Finding it was like finding a dream come true. "

We have used dozens of B & Bs for 20 years at home and in Nova Scotia. Canna Country Inn ranks among our top ten favorites in our opinion. We reserved a room at the end of a 3-week vacation to break up a long drive home to Connecticut. As soon as my wife and I set foot inside the inn, we knew we had to spend another day to unwind and "decompress." The inn is clean, plush, the breakfasts were excellent, and the hosts were friendly and helpful in making us comfortable and in choosing places to find great meals. (They suggested the Rock Bass Grill where we dined at a table enjoying the city lights of Harrisburg reflecting on the Susquehanna River. The meal was superior and moderately priced.) What a great way to end a vacation!

Forget those high priced condos and beach houses! The spacious Canna Country Inn provides comfortable accommodations with all the amenities you need. We had our yearly family get together there and were so pleased with its charming lodge like atmosphere. The inn has so many living spaces; lots of room to spread out and visit in small groups or all together. Every family had their own room or suite and there was even adjacent bedroom space for the children. The children loved the game room and spent long hours competing with their cousins. The dining room was so wonderful; it was the first time ever we could all sit down together at one table for a traditional family meal. The kitchens were spacious and well equipped which allowed family members to spend time together while preparing meals. Susan and Daniel were the quintessential innkeepers and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. With so many sightseeing, shopping and sports options in the area, you just cannot find a better location for a family vacation.

Aug 08 Our daughter had her wedding here at the Inn . About 6 weeks before the wedding the previous owners sold the Inn to Daniel and Susan. They transformed the Inn to an absolutely beautiful location for the event. As the parents of the bride, we of course had many concerns and they were very accommodating and patient with us. The wedding was held in the grove and was absolutely magical we forged many memories here and this place will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Tom & Janet
