  This was the first time we have stayed in a condo and I can't imagine a more perfect choice for our family! The condo was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was well stocked down to the grilling utensils. All the extras (beach towels and chairs, sand toys, games, movies, etc) was such a wonderful bonus. The location is perfect and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the dolphins play from the balcony and beach several times. I loved the keyless entry!! No losing keys at the beach or pool and everyone in our group could come and go with ease. Local restaurants and the fishing pier are just a walk down the beach. Destin is 6 miles across the bridge for all your shopping and dining needs if you want to go into a bigger area. My husband and son went on a deep sea fishing trip in Destin with Harborwalk Charters and had a blast! The rest of us went on a dolphin cruise with Southern Star Dolphin Cruises, which was amazing! I cooked at the condo most nights, but we did go to Fudpucker's in Destin and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We drove to Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice and go to the Naval Museum. It was such an honor being able to see them do what they love, knowing that their future is so uncertain. Denise and Jack have very thoughtfully decorated and stocked the condo to assure their guests truly feel like a part of their home, just better because it's on the beach (literally steps away). She was very accomodating and so wonderful to work with!! I highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting a beach vacation! We will definitely be back! Thank you again for sharing your condo with us! We had a GREAT time!!

  This is the 2nd time I've stayed in this condo and we are definitely going back in the fall. I can't say enough good things about it! Anything we needed was right there at our fingertips. The location is great. It is within walking distance of the pier and several restaurants. I highly recommend staying in this unit.

  I want to Thank you for sharing your condo with us. This is our first ever family vacation where we were blesses to have our children, Grandchildren and my mom with us. We have NEVER seen such a beautiful white sand beach and emerald green clear waters. My husband and I actually looked for long term rental properties in the area but our 11 year old Grandson said we couldnt move there until he turns 18 and can go with us. Our Grandkids are our life and we are so Blessed to have them. We loved everything about your condo. It was beautifully furnished, had plenty of space and even had beach toys for the kiddos. They would very quickly become beach bums if they could. I could very happily live there on a permanent basis. We live in KY and I DO NOT like the cold yukky winters. We are still considering a move. Thank you again. I will recommend it to family and friends. Is it available about the same time next year. Or a week or two prior. LOVED OUR VACATION WITH YOU AND DID NOT WANT TO COME HOME> (Mom did have trouble walking on the beach due to the thickness of the sand and a recent hip replacement , wish there was a way to get her down to the water without having her walk so far. It is very close for us but for her it seemed a long way.

  OUR VACATION AT SUMMERPLACE WAS EXCELLENT. THE OWNERS WERE VERY RESPONSIVE IN GETTING US IN ON VERY SHORT NOTICE. THE UNIT WAS IN GREAT CONDITION, THE VIEWS WERE SPECTACULAR. THE EXTRAS, BEACH CHAIRS, TOWELS, CLEANING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. THE BEACH WAS WONDERFUL, AND KEPT CLEAN EVERY MORNING. WE'D LIKE TO HAVE A RETURN VISIT NEXT YEAR.

  My family had a wonderful time. We are repeat guests there and will definitely return again. The location is great with only a very short walk out the door to either of the two pools, hot tub or to the beach. The unit is clean, very well kept and very nicely appointed. All the conveniences are provided, including seasonal beach chair/umbrella service. The owners are so kind to even leave several beach towels for use as well as beach toys for the small kids along with a couple of booster seats for the small ones' meal times. The owners are so accomodating to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your vacation. My family are already looking forward to their return there next year!

  Our week long vacation stay in this condo exceeded every expectation of our group of friends and our/their kids (ages 1-5yrs old). From the moment we opened the front door, everything was clean, organized, homey, and felt like it was thoughtfully decorated. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided, with exception of the obvious (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The owners of the condo have available for use of the renters in-unit laundry machines, beach towels, beach chairs, and the beach toys are a nice touch for those with kids. This definitely alleviated some packing and running around to the local stores. There are grocery stores close by for packing the fridge with food and tasty cocktails. Our group used the BBQ grills that are on the property, and ate some casual meals out both in Fort Walton Beach and some in Destin (a very short drive away). This unit is truly steps away from the beach, and it was awesome having the option of being at the pool or on the beach within a matter of seconds. The programmable front door lock makes entry into the unit effortless and it was so nice not having to worry about keys while at the beach/pool. A few of us in the group drove to Pensacola for the US Navy Blue Angels air-show practice session. This is a must-see if this kind of thing is of interest to you at all. It was so enjoyable! The owners of the unit are a pleasure to deal with and it was comforting knowing that they were available if we needed anything. All in all, we can't say enough about how nice the unit is, how breathtaking the views are, how family friendly the beach/pool is, and what an enjoyable time we had while staying here!

  My husband and I stood at summer home with our friends for the first time. It was a great place. Not only was the room clean and spacious, but it had everything you needed to feel like your at home. Balcony had a great view of the pool and ocean. Perfect vacation for everyone we traveled with. Would highly recommend this condo. You won't be disappointed.

  The listing and photos were extremely accurate, and the condo was clean and well-maintained. The owners were very helpful getting our stay organized and we had no problems. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends and relatives. It is a beautiful condo that had everything we could possibly want. The washer/dryer came in so handy, it was great having dry towels for the beach every day. The drive into Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice is well worth it. We spent a lot of our time in the pool or on the beach, our 2 and 5 year old daughters loved being able to swim all week. This was a fantastic vacation and we hope to return some day.

  Our family recently stayed here for our summer vacation. The condo is so clean, well-maintained and comfortable. Our girls enjoyed the games and beach toys that are provided in the condo. The view is incredible! It is so nice to be able to walk just a few feet to the beach. Denise, the owner, is helpful and easy to work with. We are looking forward to coming back and would definitely recommend this condo!
