We invite you to come and enjoy our beautiful Orcas Island vacation home. Our home was completed in 2006 and is located at the end of a dead-end, private road. There is only 1 house next to ours, but totally private and separate, the other side of us is wilderness. The house is built on a rock hillside and offers unrestricted views of the water and the best sunsets. You CANNOT access the water from our home, but you are very close to several beaches and swimming areas.
Two of the three bdrms and the family living area all have their own glass, patio doors leading to the deck areas with the same incredible views! You will be able to view the water when you wake up, while lying in bed with your head on the pillow from two bedrooms (one has a king bed, the other a queen bed). All bedrooms are downstairs, but separate by their own doors and a small hallway between each. The third bdrm, which is also the bonus/theater room, also has it’s own regular private doors, one leading to the hallway and another leading to the lower deck. One end of this room is the theater, the middle of the room has two queen size beds, next to that is our version of a work out space with a weight bench, a couple of weights, and 2 row machines. Continuing to the other end is the door leading to the lower deck and a deep freeze. It's a huge room. This room also stores two queen, high-rise aero beds w/electric pumps and two sleeping bags. The full bathroom is downstairs and independent of all rooms. The half bath is upstairs. Upstairs also has a small office in which there are two laptop desks (only)in case you bring your laptop and a printer that can take your camera's memory card and print and/or download to your computer to email to your friends and family immediately.
We are approximately 5.8 miles (10 mins) from downtown Eastsound (where all the shopping is located); 20 minutes from the ferry docks; and just around the corner from the most popular spots – Moran State Park (site seeing, hiking, picnicing, etc); Cascade Park (swimming, water rentals, hiking, picnicing, etc.); Rosario Marina (great for watching boats and water planes land and take off, spa, restaurant, etc); and the ever popular restaurant Inn at Ship Bay. We have a crab pot cage at the house for your use, so if you rent a boat - take it to go crabbing. We have a crab pot to cook your freshly caught crab as well.
So, if you enjoy wildlife, peace and quite with incredible scenery and sunsets, then you will truly enjoy our home. Guaranteed a great sunset every night, unless Mother Nature clouds the skies, and sometimes -- even then. We look forward to sharing our home with you.
NOTICE: ALL RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. NO DATES OR RATES ARE GUARANTEED UNTIL FULL DOWN PAYMENT IS RECEIVED!!!! Renters MUST be 25 yrs or older. Additional fee of $25 per person PER NIGHT for a party of more than 4 adults will apply to the rates (anyone at age 19 and older). The rates you see DO NOT include, the $200 refundable deposit, $180 cleaning fee, taxes, or any additional fees that may apply (i.e., more than 4 adults, credit card charges, etc.). Background checks will be made and upon approval, a down payment of 50% of the total rental cost will be required immediately to hold your dates AND at the current rates. No smoking allowed anywhere on premises!!! Also, we are not interested in trades, but thank you.

Check our calendar on this site first -- If you see the dates are available 7 to 14 days prior to your desired arrival, email me immediately for special rates(full payment required immediately, credit cards only, and payment must be received at least 4 days prior to arrival).

- Queen Bed (3) : Considered Bdrm 2. Private with its own glass patio doors leading to the downstaris deck -- all water view as well. Bdrm 3 (aka the bonus/theater room) has two additional queen sz beds, as well as two queen high-rise electric pump aero bed and two sleeping bags. A 900 sq ft room, lots of sleeping space (kids love it). Has a private door to the hallway and a back door that leads to the lower deck.

- Deck/Patio (2) : Two huge decks - one upstairs and one downstairs - both wrap around the entire west side of the house and have clear views of the water and sunsets.

- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details: The pictures do not do the view justice, as most other places are blocked with trees. It's breath taking.
- Communications
- Telephone: Cordless phone, but no voice mail/machine. Cell phones typically do not have service in this location.
- Free Long Distance: Free for calls within the US ONLY
- Broadband Internet: High speed internet connection for laptops and/or online games. MUST SPECIFY YOU WANT IT TURNED ON.
- Other Amenities
- There is a small office upstairs with two laptop desk stations (if you choose to bring a computer) and a printer that you can insert your SD/MMC camera disk into and print and/or email your pictures immediately to friends and family.
