Charming West Sound studio apartment with beach access!

A charming second floor studio apartment in beautiful West Sound at the base of Turtleback Mountain. Enjoy fabulous water views from your private deck.
West Sound's public beach & county dock, are just across the street.
Stairs to the beach make for easy launching of kayaks and other water sports.

The studio features a very comfortable queen bed, crisp clean linens and fluffy pillows for a great night sleep.
Bathroom with a full tub and shower. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided.
32" flat screen with satellite TV.
There is a love seat for relaxation, watching TV, or just reading a book in front of the gas fireplace.
Sliding glass doors lead to the private deck for taking in the spectacular view!
The kitchenette is stocked with a small fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (including a great selection of coffee & tea), toaster, dishes and glassware.
Our dining table seats 4.
(PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO POTS and PANS OR COOKING UTENSILS PROVIDED!! COOKING IS NOT PERMITTED!)
There is a microwave for heating meals.

The Crow's Nest is located only 5 minutes from the Orcas ferry landing and 10 minutes to the village of Eastsound. Kenmore Air flies from Seattle to West Sound several times a day by float plane from Lake Union or land plane to the Eastsound airport from Boeing Field.
If you need a rental car, Orcas Island Shuttle and orcascars.com has cars and mini vans.

Moran State Park has 5 beautiful lakes and 35 miles of trails for hiking and biking.
While in the park, don't miss the summit of Mt. Constitution. Climb the tower for endless views at 2409'.
Turtleback Mountain. is literally in your backyard for another incredible hike.

There are many great dining options on Orcas Island. We would be happy to help with recommendations and reservations.

You can find rentals for sea kayaks, mountain bikes, and even mopeds for further adventures.

Beautiful stay on Orcas!

This was a sunlight-filled, clean, cozy space with a deck overlooking the water! Excellent location near Turtleback Preserve and easy drive to town and to Moran State Park. Trina was a fabulous host.

I really enjoyed my stay at the crows nest. Such a sweet space. Beautiful views, cozy atmosphere, amenities were perfect for my short stay. I would absolutely return for another visit!

A great pied-a-terre. The view of West Sound is outstanding. One could sit there all day. For things to do: we enjoyed hiking on Turtleback Mountain preserve. It's a short trip to Eastsound for shopping, restaurants and other outdoor activity. And in the other direction, a short trip to Deer Harbor for restaurants and a lovely walk (mostly level) around the peninsula. Cooking is not an option, and that's just fine!

Very comfortable and met all expectations. Some construction going on in rear, smart tv for evening would have been nice but ok without it. No cookware for stove top but made do. This may have been in description. I would stay again 100% and very much enjoyed the amazing crows nest view and outside patio over looking the little bay off the West Sound. Two thumbs up!

R&R at the Crow's Nest

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this delightful getaway spot. Loved the room set up, the small kitchenette and the VIEW. Spent time on the deck in between rain showers, coming back in to warm up by the cozy fireplace. I also walked across the street to the community dock and easy access to the beach. What a perfect space to rest and relax!

Beautiful location close to many things

A quiet spot on the water but close to East Sound and Deer Harbor , great hiking on saddle back mountain, and nice bike routes. The host was very accommodating.

Love the Crows Nest

Trina is the perfect host and the Crows Nest was a delightful apartment. Had everything we needed and location was the best. We got to watch sailboat races in the evening from the balcony. Would definitely book again on my next trip to Orcas Island
