We stayed here in October for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment is absolutely perfectly located. The accessability was so helpful for a first time visit to the city. The place is quite spacious and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to stay again on our next visit. There are so many things to do within walking distance and the metro is convenient(especially the not to be missed flea mkt.)

The apartment was exactly as pictured, very clean and felt even more spacious than the pictures depicted. (That's saying a lot as we were 3 women with a lot of luggage). The beds were comfortable and the apartment was very cozy and well stocked for the comforts of home, even a European hair dryer and iron!!! We were happy to have access to the apartments WiFi as I brought my computer to Paris so we could Skype family at home - priceless! The best part was where the apartment is located in Montmartre. Just outside the hustle and bustle of central Paris Montmartre is a quieter neighborhood with parents greeting children coming home from school or people out and about walking their pets. We felt safe at all hours and met many locals who were gracious and welcoming. The Metro station 12 was as described within a short walk from the apartment as well as Sacre Couer (just walk up Lamarck and there it is!). Everything you need is right in the neighborhood as well. For all of our grocery shopping and eating we trotted down the stairs (just NE outside your front door) to Caulaincourt street. We shopped at "Naturalia" for coffee, TP, soap and Champagne of course. Ate many meals at "Cafe Francoeur", "Cafe Arrose", and started most every morning at "Le Grenier 'a Pain" for croissants, quiche or other delectable item all at a very reasonable price! Most were very accomodating to what little french we spoke or understood. Cafe Arrose spoke/understood the least english but were very sweet and helpful nonetheless and we had several good meals there. For unique gifts we shopped locally at "Rouge Gingembre" (also on Caulaincourt). Very sweet shopkeeper and wonderful affordable gift ideas. As for the ease of booking... the property is managed by Inbeau Paris and they were wonderful. Very patient and they answered my "many" questions in preparation for our trip which started 9 months prior to our visit. Jean Noel was my main contact with Inbeau Paris and it all went very smoothly. Only glitch in our whole trip was getting the key to work in the door upon our arrival. The paperwork mentioned it was tricky and it proved to be. A phone call to Inbeau Paris was met with a courteous "walk through" of instruction and we entered our beautiful apartment and had the most wonderful time in Paris!!! The apartment was a welcome treat at the end of our busy days/nights in Paris for sure!!! Don't hesitate to book this apartment, you will be pleased.

Just got home from Paris a few days ok and wanted to say how much we enjoyed the apartment. It exceeded our expectations! So spacious and well equipped it really was like a home away from home. We loved opening the doors to the balcony and being able to hear the daily life on the street below as well as getting a wonderful cross breeze through the kitchen. The washer/dryer combo is a great asset and we got alot of use out of the sandwich grill. We even had use for the fan that was in the closet as three of our days there were in the high 90s! Really, everything a person could need was provided and it made our stay so much easier. And the location was so handy to everything - the metro, little markets, restaurants, cafes, pâtisseries - and so close to Sacré-Coeur and Place du Tertre. We did alot of walking around "our" neighborhood exploring all of the little nooks and crannys. And when we ventured furthur into Paris and beyond the metro was easy and close by to use. All of the instructions that were sent and that are posted on the apartment door were easy to follow and very thoughtful. I can't wait to visit Paris again and I will definitely want to rent the same apartment. As a matter of fact I wish I could live in this apartment all of the time!!!

Week in Haussmannian apartment June 2011

We spent a week in this wonderful apartment in June 2011. It is in a charming building in a good residential street, with a few cafe's, restaurants and wine bars, which have the benefit of being close but not the disadvantage of hearing them. A really good quiet location. The lift was a real bonus for the suitcases! The apartment is very spacious and it is great to be able to live very comfortably - a real home away from home. The apartment is in very good condition, with everything in working order, and it was spotlessly clean. The things we loved were the spacious feel of the place, the french doors on to the balcony where you could enjoy seeing the street below, the great cross breeze you get that cools the apartment beautifully, the quality of the neighbourhood. We loved that you are only 5 minutes stroll to the Metro, patisseries, pharmacy, local stores, etc - and of course all those great restaurants and cafes. It is a really lovely area to be in and an easy stroll to Sacre Couer, and all the wonderful restaurants and shops in that area. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone going to Paris - we would definitely book it again the next time we are there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It had everything we needed to live comfortably for two weeks with our twenty two month old toddler. At night, she slept in the provided porta-cot in the dining room and we could close all the doors to this room and not disturb her. The washer-dryer was also very convenient. The apartment was large by Paris standards and the double glazed doors kept out all the noise. The lift was a winner for our little one and more fun than the local carousel at Abbesses! The area is great - a close walk to Sacre Couer and a brilliant bistro immediately downstairs plus lots of good bakeries, fromageries, cafes etc. The metro lines 12 and 4 were in easy walking distance and the streets are both lively and safe. It felt like we were staying in a friend's place like locals rather than a sterile tourist spot. We'd gladly stay here again and Jean-Noel made everything straight forward and welcoming. Thanks again.
