This recently fully renovated Lake House is perfect for family trips, group outings, company retreats or football weekends. All of our Guests have LOVED the house and all "extras" we provide. Please click on the "Traveler Reviews" icon above and you will understand why.
We offer the "extras" that we know Guest appreciate. There are beach towels for use so you can leave yours at home. We provide bath soap, toilet paper, bathroom spray, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, paper towels, trash bags, foil, storage baggies, spices, candles, gas for the grill, cleaning supplies, etc... This can save you hundreds of dollars! We also allow you to use some of our life vests, water shoes, floats and beach chairs. Just bring your group with your clothes, food and sunscreen and you are set for a fun relaxing get-a-way at beautiful Lake Martin!
The house is 2,400 square ft. that sleeps 15 in beds, 19 using 2 sofa sleepers....total of 3 Private bedrooms that sleep up to 8. Review pictures to see layout of private and non private bedrooms. Only 30 minutes from Opelika/Auburn, 1 hour from Montgomery, 1 1/2 hours from Birmingham. Easy drive up access...no tricky driveways to maneuver. Plenty of parking on property. The gently sloped property has multiple decks for sun and shade with 4 swings. Open view to big water across from Stillwaters. Private, community boat landing only 100 yards away. Large stationary dock with attached floating dock.
Inside, there are 3 floors, 2nd floor is the main with deck. All floors have lake view. 2 large living areas - one on the main and one downstairs. Main floor has private master bedroom (queen bed), master bath, and 1/2 bath, Fully equipped kitchen is open to dining and living area. Has 42" flat screen TV, WiFi and pull out sofa. Upstairs, there are 2 OPEN non private sleeping areas(no doors)that can sleep 7 total (1 full bed and 5 singles) with TV...great for kids and those that don't need privacy! Downstairs there are 2 private bedrooms, full bath with double shower, open living & kitchen area w/o stove. 1 bedroom has 2 full beds with TV, 1 bedroom has queen bed with French doors to outside patio. Living area has 36" TV with French doors to outside patio and pull out sofa.

We rented this lake house for Memorial Day weekend. We had five families and everyone had their own bed. This house is ideal for group vacations and is VERY clean and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is upscale and even has a community park and boat ramp two docks down from the house. Linda was super nice to us and refunded my deposit within 2 days of check-out. The back yard is lakeside and stays shaded most of the day. There is even a stone fire pit to socialize around at night. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to rent a house on Lake Martin. We will most certainly rent here again.

We stayed at this property for a triple birthday celebration. There were four families and we had the time of our lives! The house was beautifully decorated. It was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We had 16 people so the extra kitchen with a second refrigerator came in handy. There was nothing that we needed or wanted that wasn't already there. Linda (the owner) was incredibly gracious and kind. We enjoyed the outside features as much as the inside. There is a fire pit with wood, many outdoor areas to sit and watch the lake in comfort. My personal favorite was the one person hammock swing. Our time there was unforgettable. Thank you!

We just finished a fun filled week at Lake Martin with 15 of our family ranging from 17-73 years of age. The accomodations were great and I cannot think of anything else that could have been provided to make this cabin a better experience. Everything you need. Plenty of sheets and linens, cable TV on a big flat screen TV, wifi and two kitchens on separate levels to help give the early risers a place to hang out until the rest of the cabin wakes up. Wonderful tile showers on both levels, nicely decorated and sleeping for 19 all in beds or sofa sleepers. Highly Recommend. Tom B.

We stayed at this lake home this past weekend and L-O-V-E-D it! The owners of this lake house have thought of everything to make your stay warm and comfortable! The location is quiet and great for a large family! We celebrated a 60th wedding annivesary, 9th wedding anniversary, 11th birthday and 1st birthday together as a family. We were absolutely astonished at the coziness of this lake house and the breathtaking view and furnishings in the home.We had a total of 16 guests that slept comfortably in this house! We were also impressed because our pets were able to accompany us on our vacation. It is a wonderful place to stay and our family has already started planning our next reunion in the same location. I would highly recommend this lake house for your next family gathering. You won't be disappointed! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We can't wait to go back!

This is a fantastic lakehouse! The view of the lake from the house and the dock is gorgeous. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay enjoyable. Great place for family vacations with lots of extra room to relax inside and outside!

What a wonderful house. There is so much room and everything was in top shape. We were able to have a great vacation on the beautiful lake martin for our family and our family dogs (We had 11 people and 4 dogs all very comfortable in this roomy house). We loved the layout of the house and the decks, both for shade and sun. Just fantastic.

We needed a place where we could have a small wedding ceremony, reception and a place for everyone to stay. I got on vrbo and found this WONDERFUL place!! The Drummond House on Lake Martin was the perfect place for our wedding. It was very well furnished. Everything you can think of was already there. All you have to bring is your clothes, your food, and yourself!! They have thought of everything from pots and pans to board games. They have a variety of sizes in life jackets & water shoes. They already have beach towels for your convenience and the list keeps going. The home is very clean and well kept!!! We had the best time while we were there. All of friends and family were so impressed with the place. Our wedding turned out beautifully!! The Drummonds are the nicest people you could ever rent from. This will for sure be one of your most relaxing vacations ever. We COULD NOT have ask for anything BETTER!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. It was fantastic!!!!

We stayed for a week In July of 2009. We have 19 in our family. The grandkid's ages range from 1 to 20 years old. Everyone had a great time!! The dock is great to swim from. The house is plenty big enough and the owners have made sure you have every thing you need to make your stay pleasant.They have things from floaties to gas for the grill. Plenty of areas to sit and relax, The lake is a blast to explore.
