Siren's Song, a Luxury Oceanfront Villa with Fabulous Views
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Botany Bay
The beauty of the landscapes, seascapes, sunrises, sunsets and unpolluted night skies; the closeness of nature with tropical flowers, chattering parrots, sea birds, humming birds, families of deer and countless other species; the pristine coral reefs teeming with different varieties of tropical fish; the peace, tranquility and serenity have captured our souls. I lived within the National Park on St John for over 10 years, but Estate Botany Bay is so much closer to paradise, and all modern conveniences are just a short drive away.
The Unique Benefits at this House
You're away from the maddening crowds, yet the hubbub and energy of downtown Charlotte Amalie, with all the duty free shops; ferries to St John, St Croix and the British Virgin Islands; boat trips; scuba diving boats; sunset cruises and countless other activities are about 20 minutes drive. The fishermen and world class restaurants of Frenchtown are about 15 minutes drive. For those who enjoy "getting away from it all there is nothing like sailing around the deserted islands off the West End of St Thomas, or deep sea fishing or fishing off the rocks of Little St Thomas, or meditating on the beach at Mermaids Chais
Duty Free shops, ferries to St john, St Croix and the British Virgin Islands
Owner's Map of Botany Bay
Marshall was born and raised in Alabama and Florida and has all that southern hospitality. I was born and raised in England, but I've lived in the USA for almost 25 years. Marshall and I met at Estate Botany Bay on St Thomas and neither of us would want to live anywhere else. We just love it here. We are both retired and our home is on the adjacent lot to Siren’s Song. We’ve travelled the world and have never found anywhere as awesome as this. Come visit and experience this magical place, our special piece of heaven. Lynda and Marshall Hartmann.
