‘Lady Lace’ is a 17th century house.
It is a three-level house with a total of 100 square meters living area. The facade is built in the traditional step-gable style that is typical of the finest Flemish Renaissance homes. It is completely renovated, furnished and fully equipped for your comfort. The interior, with original oak structure, is very cozy. Located in the peaceful Ezelstraat quarter, it is only a five minute walk to the Market square and the Belfry Tower.
The name ‘Lady Lace’ has been chosen for the lace-makings manufactured by the owner herself in reference to Bruges.
You will love this relaxing resort and immediately feel at home. This property is available as a holiday rental home. Guests who want to visit Bruges will enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of the city.
Bruges has an ideal mix of ancient buildings, canals, museums, cobblestone streets, and charming little squares. It has also been called ‘the most perfectly preserved medieval city in Europe’.

We had the most wonderful stay at 'Lady Lace', it is an exquisite gem. Francis the owner met us upon arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. All ammenities were provided for our comfort and we were well taken care of with the house book which provided us with all information. The absolute best part was the location, as we walked into Market Sq quite a few times to take various tours. It is a 2 min walk and close to everything! Just a perfect stay and we hope to be back one day. The home suits the town and provided us with a special experience. Thanks Francis and to your wife for her wonderful lace works that we were more than interested in. A++++ experience!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: "It's a great boost to receive future guests in the same way" Thanks for the reply!

Title pretty much says it. Wonderful house situated in the middle of everything. The pictures don't do it justice. Stayed for 3 nights. Love that they own the movie "In Bruges" which we watched the first night to get us acclimated to the area. My 4yo daughter loved the princess sheets and plate/cup.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had planned to explore the are around Brugge, but found the city so wonderful we spent the entire time with our car parked. Lady Lace was the perfect location. Walkable distance to all the sites of Brugge. Marie-Christine was the perfect hostess. The property had everything to make it comfortable. Loved seeing the lace works that she had done. Would definitely go back.Recommended for: Age 55+.

We recently stayed a few days at Lady Lace. It was a great experience. The owners are great. They answered all our emails very quickly and we very helpful. Once we arrived, we were met at the house. The house if very unique. We have been to a lot of place in Europe and this house was the most unique. The owner has a great book with lots of information. There are also games and other books in the house which were great for me and my boys. They loved the games. Everything went very smoothly and we were very pleased with our stay. I would recommend it to anyone.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

There were 5 of us who stayed at Lady Lace. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house was charming, well-decorated, clean, and very well-equipped. It is in a perfect location - central to the Market Square, many nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. We were greeted with a smile and lovely chocolates. Our hostess was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful as we made choices about what to see and do. Brugge itself is a delightful city. We all consider it the highlight of our 2-week European visit that included London and Paris. We highly recommend Lady Lace!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

From the moment we walked up to Lady Lace and figured out this charming Flemish home was our new home for the next 4 days we were really excited. Even more once we went inside! The wood throughout the home is the original wood from the 17th century but all the amenities are modern and convenient. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and beautiful spiral stairs leading the way up to each floor. I know we all fell in love with the place an wanted to stay forever. Lady Lace has a wonderful location! 5 minutes walk to the Market or Burg, 5 minutes walk to the outer gates and main canal...no need for a car while staying in Brugge. Unless you felt like visiting one of the many excellent Trappist Breweries located throughout the Belgian countryside like we did! Brugge is a charming fairy tale like town full of friendly people, great food and beer, amazing buildings and beautiful swan filled canals. We thought Lady Lace was the perfect place for our Flemish adventure and hopefully you will too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Lady Lace is a wonderful place to stay! Marie-Christine met us upon arrival and immediately made us feel welcome. She gave us all kinds of tips on sightseeing; there are plenty of reference materials in the house (maps, books and local magazines). We found that very useful. We really enjoyed our stay in Bruges at Lady Lace. The location is great, the house is located right in the old town. There are plenty of restaurants around, cafes, bakeries, shops. We walked everywhere. It is exactly as featured on the site and we have no complaints. We really enjoyed our stay there! Francis and Marie-Christine, thank you so much for letting us stay at Lady Lace. We hope to be back sometime soon!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Our recent stay at "Lady Lace" was FABULOUS! We just loved staying there. The location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and close to transportation too. The home is, as it says, cozy and charming. The furnishings are lovely and very comfortable. Everything you need is there. The kitchen is well supplied. We were in Brugge as tourists but also visiting family. It was fun to be able to entertain them in our "home" and had plenty of dishes, glasses, chairs, etc. Because it's multiple stories it was great to have a toilet downstairs too. It's also always great to have a washer and dryer. The home is very bright because of the outdoor "room" in the center. The wifi worked fantastic. Some reviewers talked about the noise of the street but we really didn't notice much noise, especially at night. The stairs are a bit steep so I started going down backwards, like we did on our boat ladder, which worked quite well. We would not hesitate to stay at Lady Lace in the future. I'm sure on our next family visit we will do just that.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We found our hosts helpful in every possible way, including a well-organized and all inclusive book about the house and about what to do and see in Bruges. The house is beautifully appointed with a well-equipped kitchen, handsome living room, modern bath, and comfortable beds, plus a bonus of high quality lace art made by our hostess: amazing! And the location couldn't be better.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
