  My brother and I stayed in September, 2012. The owners could not have been nicer. They were efficient, responsive and very easy to work with. It makes such a difference when you rent from nice people! The condo itself was great and had absolutely everything we needed. We felt right at home. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the proximity to the beach was ideal. We had a great stay and would absolutely come again. I highly recommend!

  We really enjoyed our week at the condo. We've been to Carolina Beach before, and this was the nicest place we've stayed, and the location was great. It was very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend staying here!

  This was our 3rd year coming to Carolina Beach but our first time staying at this condo. The location couldn't be better and the pool was fantastic and super close to the condo as was the laundry room. They have a new chair in the family room (newer than what the pictures show) and we're already shopping for one for our house...it was that comfortable! The owners were great to work with and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and had my deposit back to me within a few days. We had a great time, thanks for sharing your place with us!

  I rented this wonderful 2 bedroom condo right on the water and what a peaceful, healing place. Steps away from the beach and you wake up each morning to the ocean waves and go to sleep feeling as if you had your very own private sound machine. Tremendous place to rent and the owners are terrific to work with.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  The condo was great, felt like home away from home. Location was excellent, right on the beach and close to the boardwalk. You can walk along the beach to the boardwalk and back! There was a small convenience store just down the street that also offered boogie board and surf board rentals - very handy! The pool was definitely a bonus when the ocean waves were a little too rough. The view from the balcony was a side view, but I was still able to watch the ocean each morning with my coffee, or sit in the other patio chair and watch the canal. This was something that I had asked before our visit and knew what to expect. The owners were very informative and prompt with emails and gladly provided more pictures upon request. I didn't feel like any information was withheld. The condo complex is on the ocean and is rightly classified as oceanfront. Although the parking was a little tight at times with the three public parking spaces, the beach was never crowded with the public access, and actually we found our section of the beach to be much less crowded than others! Laundry downstairs was really not a problem at all. The owners were very helpful and, again, prompt with everything. The towel rack was a bit loose in the bathroom and coming off the wall and once the owner was informed they immediately sent over the handyman to have it repaired. We could tell many updates have been made to the condo and the only suggestion is updating the bathrooms. The AC unit worked really well but was a tad loud, especially for sleepers in the spare bedroom. Nothing that kept anyone awake, but could be a bit quieter. Overall, this was an awesome trip and the the condo stay couldn't be beat. We have teenage boys who we have taken on many trips and they raved about this one. We would recommend Carolina Beach and this condo to everyone.

• Not oceanfront, it is oceanview.

  The condo is very nice, but it is an oceanview not an oceanfront. The washer/dryer are not located in the unit and are pay for use shared with all of the other condo unit renters. The beach area is a public beach access area with public parking directly infront of this units parking space, making it had to park an SVU or truck. The beach was very nice and the location is close to the pier. We watched the fireworks from the beach and had a great view. I wanted to post this review so that others are not surprised like we were.

  Owner response: We would be happy to provide pictures of the view and the parking lot upon request. There are 3 metered spots that run alongside the designated condo parking area, but we haven’t had any issues with getting in and out of our spot nor have any of our other tenants expressed concern. We have updated our VRBO site to reference that the washer/dryer is located on the first floor directly below our unit and that it is coin operated. If you have any other concerns or questions regarding this review, we would be happy to discuss with you prior to booking.   We've stayed in this condo for the past 3 years for Memorial Weekend. We love it! It feels like our place away from home on Memorial Weekend. I hope we can come back this year, too!

Additional information about rental rates

$100 refundable security deposit is required at time of booking. Rent plus cleaning fee is due in full three weeks prior to stay. Deposit will be refunded within 7 days of last day of rental.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

All rentals are subject to $60 cleaning fee. Taxes are included in daily rate.
